I do not get it though. That voice of hers is pristine! I legit thought that it was Erica also,who is Loona's VA,but also i felt a difference. I do not get it why people bully other for their voices. Im glad,otherwise,that she is actually doing her first debut in VA-ing.

Now, if Caine truly isn’t evil, which the creator confirms and he doesn’t really give off those vibes either, I’m not too sure if he’s actually the one trapping them here as it doesn’t seem in character (solely based on the pilot). This might sound dumb and weird, but I have a suspicion Bubble is the one in charge/is the “rogue AI” in question that’s trapping them here with malicious intent. Caine’s probably just a part of the game doing his “job” and trying to help them as much as he can, but he legitimately doesn’t know of a way out for them.

I usually say something is scary as an intellectual response, like I understand how other people could be scared by it, but this show terrifies me.
I couldn't agree more. This is why I never give the characters in my own stories "fates worse than death". They're not real, sure, but it never sits right with me, knowing I trapped this character I created in a horrifying situation with no way out, not even through Deus Ex Machina. This is why I hope, if this does get picked up as a series, Pomni and her (newfound) friends eventually find a way out of there and back to their real homes.

This show is my new obsession, not just because of how phenomenal it is, but because of how I relate to it on a personal level. I just need to be careful how much I watch it since I tend to have sensitive anxiety. I loved your reactions to Kinger being Kinger, that guy is his own brand of unhinged.
I've been a fan of Gooseworx for a long time, so I've been looking forward to this since it was announced however long ago. Something about the juxtaposition of psychological dark comedy with bright cheerful colors and wacky characters appeals to me. Gooseworx's pitch for the series was "'I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream' with the aesthetic of an 'I Spy' book," and the description on the official web page is "A woman gets trapped in a crazy virtual world along with five other humans and are now subject to the whims of wacky AI and their own personal traumas" (and also "What if it was Toy Story, but everyone was a jerk?"). The visuals are based on "I Spy" books and late-90s pre-generated CG computer games like "Kid Pix", "Day of the Tentacle", and "LEGO Island". Fun fact: Pomni has been stated to canonically be 25 years old, in response to people having made a bunch of (mostly foot-related) Rule 34 art of her.

Trapped in what is effectively a windows screensaver with no way out no ability to meaningfully interact with anything, That's ruled by what appears to be an AI with godlike control over your reality and total apathy to your situation. And that's if your even real, for all you know your a program in this mess designed or brain scanned based off of a real human whos out there living the life you think you should have while using you as an experiment. Psych horror is best horror.
To be fair, it is confirmed that Caine isnt malevolent or apathetic, he actually cares about them and tries his best to keep them occupied so they dont dwell on their situation too much, but he doesnt understand humans 100% so sometimes he's a bit oblivious about it, least from how the creator described it

If I'm understanding the culture properly, it was because the Ringmasters frequently abused (frequently sexually, but most often physically and emotionally) the attractions, and the clowns kept committing suicide. Truly unfortunate, but it was for the best.
This reminds me of Hazbin Hotel got a huge viewing and following and a great cast but if picked up for a series....im not sure many of the voices would return!
Hazbin had to recast cuz it’s on Amazon. The other actors weren’t in unions. According to the people behind Lackadaisy, since they’re fully indie, they’re not getting rid of the previous voices. So Glitch has no reason to do so since they literally are also an indie studio, and some of the voices/ppl from this pilot have worked on other Glitch shows/indie productions. You have to consider the circumstances before assuming there’s going to be recasts. Not saying there isn’t going to be one definitively, but going off track record we should be fine.
You’re right about the old fashioned 3D modeling, in the intro it looked like a windows xp educational game or something. And given the old computer which all of this may be taking place in.. what if they were trapped in an old program that was spread around but being run on an old pc?
I've seen this pilot so many times both the original episode and through reactors like you guys. I love to comments, opinions, and of course reactions as the video progresses.
Before the isekais there was Tron, and I don't mean the remake lol. I was a bit apprehensive about gooseworx pairing up with glitch since they do such different animation styles, but it turned out unexpectedly well without loosing their quirky touch. The characters are all distinct and play off eachother while not bogging it down with drama, and there's a variety of humor at play in the surrealistic horror. Definitely looking forward to more!

This is the type of show that if your parents were to walk in while you were watching it would be better to switch to porn instead because that’s easier to explain than a single moment of this show 9/10
I have the theory that the perfomers represent different personality disorders. Anxiety(pomni), fear(kingler), selfishness(jax), anger(kaufmo), etc. What if the headset was a technology that was supposed to help cure ppl of their debilitating personality disorders. Strap it on and instantly feel relief from your crippling issue. BUT what if the tech takes those negative aspects of your mind away and dumps them into the circus? That's why they have no memory. Also it would lend itself to making the existential horror even worse because even with a route back to the real world, they've nowhere to go. 😱🙂 Interesting things I've spotted. * Before the introduction song Caine mentioned "paraphernalia" that "we" would be seeing. That implies objects/items/things and yet what we end up watching is the trapped performers... * When Caines watch detected a player in the Void, he said "oh no, they'll be *spoiled*". That's a word used for perishable goods/food/products..... * When Jax said "she still thinks it's a dream", he was not talking to Ragatha. He was breaking the forth wall and talking to us.... * The adventures aren't dangerous, but Kaufmo's abstracted form was as Zoobuls fate barely bothered them but Kaufmo's was seen as a real danger. Re- Jax's reaction to the adventure compared to Kaufmo. *Caine isnt all-seeing because he had no idea what was going on to his circus or players, even abstraction, until Pomni entered the void. Then he still didnt know himself, his wacky watch alarm had to alert him. *Caine barely knows anything about the real world.... " *Drown* in the digital Lake,..... *ridery* at the digital fair" hint at that. If that's so how did he know what offices in the real world looks like? Maybe through the cameras in the place where the headset and computer are sitting? That also explains why the exit maze has "A" computer office room but is not "THE" computer office room. I dont think they are the same because Caine's had no windows or natural light but the one we come out of at the end has natural light streaming across the wall. * Other than the final corridor connected to the void the Exit Maze was totally stable, until Pomni's extreme reaction to the computer and headset started causing the lights to flicker on and off.... why then? 🤔 *We saw that there was no one in the chair with the headset on at the end of the episode. *Kinger and Jax, at least, have been there for years but no human body could survive that long without food and water in the real world obviously... also, We saw that there was no one in the chair with the headset on at the end of the episode so no it doesn't seem to be that their bodies are in the real world with a headset on. If that's the case either ppl we're getting sucked in fully, which I'm sure someone would notice and shut down the program, OR when the headset went on no one was aware that any downloading had occurred. Pomni memories that only started from the moment the headset went on could be another point in that favour. *I also have a theory about Bubble. Bubble is one of the few things Caine can't control because whoever created Caine created Bubble as well. Why would I say that? Because if Bubble was just another of his creations, then Caine would have more control over him. Instead, Bubble constantly interrupts him, does stuff that pisses him off( I.E- eating the cake), and grosses him out (I.E- licking up the vomit). His words, "You parasite!" & " also suggest lack of control *The personality trait being removed and it being the devices purpose is just supposition on my behalf. More like "what would i do with the story" 🤔🙃, but adding that to my belief that Glitch and Gooseworks wouldn't just do a rinse and repeat of "downloaded minds" and the added horror of "they can't leave" because they're not fully a person and have no body waiting for them in the real world... well I know I'd love that twist and what the show runners would do with it 😉 Ok that's some of the stuff ive picked up on. Could it be meaningful or could mean nothing 😅

anybody noticed a BGM they used is a soft version of Xion's theme from kingdom hearts... if others noticed this already in previous videos, I haven't watched this channel in a while. I thought it was neat to listen to.
The real weird and crazy thing is in the multiple dubbed versions there are quite a few jokes unique to certain languages that are exclusive to their version and don't translate into any other languages. Yet are still from the same names and structure of sentences that end having completely different meanings or connotations. The biggest examples being the Russian version has all 13 swears barely censored at all but the audience was very confused by Pomni's name because if translated into Russian it means Remember. Yet she can't remember anything before she entered the digital realm except for her putting on a headset that got her there and nobody else can remember who they were or how they got here in the Digital realm. So the irony is very much intentional and I wouldn't be surprised if there are many secrets and easter eggs hidden throughout all the different languages of the show's dubs. Another more comedic one is in one language I can't remember right now instead of hoo-haw Jax calls Kinger E4. Which is the space on a chess board for the king. And when Kinger says "Jax! We found the Zooble hole" in the Ukrainian dub version it is actually a very lewd joke given "Zooble Hole" actually translates to Small Vagina, basically this is a small penis joke but it's also probably not intentional on Kinger's part because it's just another instance if him saying random things and being crazy. And in the German Dub Version the Gloink Queen calls Jax a "Bugs Bunny Rip-off" which is very fitting for another smart ass cartoon rabbit character wearing gloves. This is also ironically probably the only insult that would actually be at all remotely effective against someone as sassy as Jax. Yet in every other language it's just a generic name for him said in a disrespectful and offened manner. So clearly A LOT of time, energy, and effort was put into this show despite it being purposely split across each and every single DIFFERENT language version. Meaning that this is probably going to be a theme going forward. So again for clues to thr plot and characters and climax of the Story (in my opinion) this is another Gravity Falls kinda situation where there's going to be hints everywhere and we just need to know where to look and pay close attention to ALL the translationed versions of the show. This is also probably why this Show has been in development for so long as well.

Fun fact: Pomni has been stated to canonically be 25 years old, in response to people having made a bunch of (mostly foot-related) Rule 34 art of her.

Love those kind of mental nightmare scenarios. Trapped in what is effectively a windows screensaver with no way out no ability to meaningfully interact with anything, That's ruled by what appears to be an AI with godlike control over your reality and total apathy to your situation. And that's if your even real, for all you know your a program in this mess designed or brain scanned based off of a real human whos out there living the life you think you should have while using you as an experiment.

To be fair, it is confirmed that Caine isnt malevolent or apathetic, he actually cares about them and tries his best to keep them occupied so they dont dwell on their situation too much, but he doesnt understand humans 100% so sometimes he's a bit oblivious about it, least from how the creator described it

If I'm understanding the culture properly, it was because the Ringmasters frequently abused (frequently sexually, but most often physically and emotionally) the attractions, and the clowns kept committing suicide. Truly unfortunate, but it was for the best.

Hazbin had to recast cuz it’s on Amazon. The other actors weren’t in unions. According to the people behind Lackadaisy, since they’re fully indie, they’re not getting rid of the previous voices. So Glitch has no reason to do so since they literally are also an indie studio, and some of the voices/ppl from this pilot have worked on other Glitch shows/indie productions.
You have to consider the circumstances before assuming there’s going to be recasts. Not saying there isn’t going to be one definitively, but going off track record we should be fine.

Before the isekais there was Tron, and I don't mean the remake lol.
I was a bit apprehensive about gooseworx pairing up with glitch since they do such different animation styles, but it turned out unexpectedly well without loosing their quirky touch. The characters are all distinct and play off eachother while not bogging it down with drama, and there's a variety of humor at play in the surrealistic horror.
Definitely looking forward to more!
Isn't Tron Legacy a Sequel? I would count it as a Soft Remake, it's just modernizing Tron and maybe making some slight changes to the lore & stuff.

I have the theory that the perfomers represent different personality disorders. Anxiety(pomni), fear(kingler), selfishness(jax), anger(kaufmo), etc. What if the headset was a technology that was supposed to help cure ppl of their debilitating personality disorders. Strap it on and instantly feel relief from your crippling issue. BUT what if the tech takes those negative aspects of your mind away and dumps them into the circus? That's why they have no memory. Also it would lend itself to making the existential horror even worse because even with a route back to the real world, they've nowhere to go. 😱🙂
Interesting things I've spotted.
* Before the introduction song Caine mentioned "paraphernalia" that "we" would be seeing. That implies objects/items/things and yet what we end up watching is the trapped performers...
* When Caines watch detected a player in the Void, he said "oh no, they'll be *spoiled*". That's a word used for perishable goods/food/products.....
* When Jax said "she still thinks it's a dream", he was not talking to Ragatha. He was breaking the forth wall and talking to us....
* The adventures aren't dangerous, but Kaufmo's abstracted form was as Zoobuls fate barely bothered them but Kaufmo's was seen as a real danger. Re- Jax's reaction to the adventure compared to Kaufmo.
*Caine isnt all-seeing because he had no idea what was going on to his circus or players, even abstraction, until Pomni entered the void. Then he still didnt know himself, his wacky watch alarm had to alert him.
*Caine barely knows anything about the real world.... " *Drown* in the digital Lake,..... *ridery* at the digital fair" hint at that. If that's so how did he know what offices in the real world looks like? Maybe through the cameras in the place where the headset and computer are sitting? That also explains why the exit maze has "A" computer office room but is not "THE" computer office room. I dont think they are the same because Caine's had no windows or natural light but the one we come out of at the end has natural light streaming across the wall.
* Other than the final corridor connected to the void the Exit Maze was totally stable, until Pomni's extreme reaction to the computer and headset started causing the lights to flicker on and off.... why then? 🤔
*We saw that there was no one in the chair with the headset on at the end of the episode.
*Kinger and Jax, at least, have been there for years but no human body could survive that long without food and water in the real world obviously... also, We saw that there was no one in the chair with the headset on at the end of the episode so no it doesn't seem to be that their bodies are in the real world with a headset on. If that's the case either ppl we're getting sucked in fully, which I'm sure someone would notice and shut down the program, OR when the headset went on no one was aware that any downloading had occurred. Pomni memories that only started from the moment the headset went on could be another point in that favour.
*I also have a theory about Bubble. Bubble is one of the few things Caine can't control because whoever created Caine created Bubble as well. Why would I say that? Because if Bubble was just another of his creations, then Caine would have more control over him. Instead, Bubble constantly interrupts him, does stuff that pisses him off( I.E- eating the cake), and grosses him out (I.E- licking up the vomit). His words, "You parasite!" & " also suggest lack of control
*The personality trait being removed and it being the devices purpose is just supposition on my behalf. More like "what would i do with the story" 🤔🙃, but adding that to my belief that Glitch and Gooseworks wouldn't just do a rinse and repeat of "downloaded minds" and the added horror of "they can't leave" because they're not fully a person and have no body waiting for them in the real world... well I know I'd love that twist and what the show runners would do with it 😉

anybody noticed a BGM they used is a soft version of Xion's theme from kingdom hearts... if others noticed this already in previous videos, I haven't watched this channel in a while. I thought it was neat to listen to.
The real weird and crazy thing is in the multiple dubbed versions there are quite a few jokes unique to certain languages that are exclusive to their version and don't translate into any other languages. Yet are still from the same names and structure of sentences that end having completely different meanings or connotations. The biggest examples being the Russian version has all 13 swears barely censored at all but the audience was very confused by Pomni's name because if translated into Russian it means Remember. Yet she can't remember anything before she entered the digital realm except for her putting on a headset that got her there and nobody else can remember who they were or how they got here in the Digital realm. So the irony is very much intentional and I wouldn't be surprised if there are many secrets and easter eggs hidden throughout all the different languages of the show's dubs. Another more comedic one is in one language I can't remember right now instead of hoo-haw Jax calls Kinger E4. Which is the space on a chess board for the king. And when Kinger says "Jax! We found the Zooble hole" in the Ukrainian dub version it is actually a very lewd joke given "Zooble Hole" actually translates to Small Vagina, basically this is a small penis joke but it's also probably not intentional on Kinger's part because it's just another instance if him saying random things and being crazy. And in the German Dub Version the Gloink Queen calls Jax a "Bugs Bunny Rip-off" which is very fitting for another smart ass cartoon rabbit character wearing gloves. This is also ironically probably the only insult that would actually be at all remotely effective against someone as sassy as Jax. Yet in every other language it's just a generic name for him said in a disrespectful and offened manner. So clearly A LOT of time, energy, and effort was put into this show despite it being purposely split across each and every single DIFFERENT language version. Meaning that this is probably going to be a theme going forward. So again for clues to thr plot and characters and climax of the Story (in my opinion) this is another Gravity Falls kinda situation where there's going to be hints everywhere and we just need to know where to look and pay close attention to ALL the translationed versions of the show. This is also probably why this Show has been in development for so long as well.
