tbh crystals should just have a charges and the charge decreases per death, once all the charges are gone the effect of the crystal is lost until recharged again. Then to recharge the crystals you can either use lesser versions of that crystal or the same crystal itself. If they wanna keep the crystal market some how relevant after making crystals not breakable

@@rp4newbs284 cus then spots/activities that drop crystals just don't immediately become worthless. You want something that doesn't overtly punish the player for mistakes but give them leeway while keeping crystals something semi-relevant and useful. Imagine you get a grin tear drop which is like what 1bil rn but if they won't break everyone will have one and it will effectively be worthless to sell on the CM to anyone, since no one will buy it and it will takes forever to sell. This will cause prices to crash by an insane amount.
Maybe we could make crystal powder by grinding current lesser crystals to recharge the crystal durability. This way the "useless" cheap crystal can have some value too.
You will disagree with me on here but it’s something on console we need. It’s far to easy to get griefed in mid game spots For example I was grinding giants for bmcs, had multiple people flag up while I was doing my circles. After I would kill them they would try to grind over me because I wasn’t flagged so I’d kill them a few times or just clear faster. My Karama is now low/red, there used to be a fear in people that they could be put at low hp n fed to mobs so they loose crystals but now they have nothing to worry about and can just continuously ruin other players farm. I wind up having to swap servers for 15/20 min and then worry this will happen again which it will So then I have to go to places like crypt where I know 99% of the players there respect the grind
To go a long with the grieving problem, out Crystal economy is bound to crash since players never need to worry about obtaining more than one set of crystals.

On console Crystals sold out even though u don't lose Crystals after death
