I like the original Morgan spiced rum I can sit and get through a bottle of it on a nice hot day goes down nicely

I drink for the strength of the alcohol and the feeling after a long week and with that I would recommend that you just keep drinking stronger and stronger rums till you find a sweet spot in the 100-151 proof range to take your mind off things lol

The pirate way, cheap. Fine by me, the after taste to me has a strong vanilla taste, with the original spiced. However, it’s like the 4th hard liquor drink I’ve ever tried, so I wouldn’t know anything.

Captain Morgan definitely isn't the best but it is readily available at most stores and yeah definatly cheap. When it's made into a rum and coke though it becomes easy to drink. And that easy to drink factor makes getting drunk an easy task. I find that kracken is best served as a sipper than mixed.

@@taggie_ I like mixing it with root bear, since root bear also has an almost vanilla taste. Problem is it takes an entire bottle for me to get drunk, I’m a big guy plus I think it has something to do with my genes.

I love vanilla coke, so i just add the spiced rum to a regular coke and there you go.
Just don't make the mistake of putting it in ACTUAL vanilla coke... It was a mistake i'll never make again.
I'm pretty sure the vanilla flavoring is the same in both of those.
Rum is Rum, Spiced Rum is Spiced Rum.
They all have their uses.
