A completely essential intro to watch. Never skipped it whenever I turned it on. It's like time doesn't flow as you watch, it just completely immerses you into the hell you're about to enter/reenter.

God why do games now in days not have intros? It’s a good way to get the player into the vibe of the game before they even start playing.
Absolutely. Its one of the things I loved about Rayman 3. Get a good song, pick a few scenes from the game and bingo.

I think it has to do with the fact that this is a world where monsters do exist and incidents like the raccoon city pandemic and the c-virus outbreak happened in 2013 just 4 years earlier in this game so while he may never have seen any kind of b.o.w up close he knew they still existed so he didn’t panic as much and he is from Texas so he might’ve gone to the shooting range more than once in his life. And spoiler:
He died when jack baker stomped his head and his whole anatomy was replaced with the mold but he still managed to keep his consciousnesses which not only shows his mental strength but also explains how he was able to reattach his hands and survive incredible falls as well as powerful hits from giant monsters like eveline at the end of 7
Actually I enjoy this game as I did with Resident evil 4 and 5, this Resident evil is a perfect game.

Resident Evil 7 hit different than the rest of the RE games. Don’t get me wrong, each game being very fun to play but this one in particular made the game 10x scarier with the first person perspective. I’ve played a lot of horror games in my lifetime. I don’t recall many of them having such a thrilling story and being so scary. Truly a masterpiece.

This Intro and game in general gives me chills, not just from it being scary, but from how compelling the story is. It’s so amazing, it’s such a smart plot, and this game will forever hold a special place in my heart.
