I would suggest a proton pack mod similar to what Captain Xavier did if you can get additional magazines. Because then you have the advantage of using the proton pack as well as a magazine.
I love my Khaos, I have the Nerf Rechargeable battery and 8 magazines for it. I got three of the magazines last year from Hasbro on Amazon and the other four last week off the Nerf Buy/Sell/Trade page on Facebook.
I found one of these at Goodwill for $4 with a working magazine and all. I just put in a 3s and it's a beast. I prefer this over a gravity-fed hopper any day.
I want a Khaos solely because of the big silly magazine. Currently nearing the end of 2022, it's actually fiscally better to buy a Khaos mag on amazon for the 40 rounds, than buying 40 rounds by themselves. The Khaos mags are only a couple dollars more expensive than a 12 round tube mag with 18 rounds as well, so I'm gonna wind up with extra box magazines before I ever get one, funnily enough. Plus with my new desires to paint my nerf arsenal, the Khaos is going to be an amazing rifle to customize.
I just found this at my local pawnshop for $40 and just finished this mod. Almost spent that money on a Nemesis over 200 miles away from me and I’m kinda glad i didn’t. Also bought a 3D printed hopper adapter to ditch the mags entirely. Lol
a nemesis is literally better lol unless you have a lot of khaos mags, and even then they’re big so you can’t carry that many, and you ned a rig. nemesis, just carry a bag of balls and dump em in when you u need to

Ivr thrifted 15 Khoas's. 7 red 8 blue. After buying 3 mag refill packs from walmart ive now got 16mags(thats in case theyre all being used smh i get 2 mags lol). Now ive got something to do w a bunch of them. Sweet.

Its actually a great deal too. A mag w 40 rounds for like $15. Some people pay that for just rounds.
But if you want extra Perses hoppers, you need to buy another Perses.

There is that advantage, but it's much slower to re fill the mags vs a hooper design. Pro's and Con's to both.
Can I just sodder out the circuit board and then use higher voltage C or D batteries?
