- I can not believe my project 240sx is ready for a TEST DRIVE! Once I dropped the rb25det Neo back into the car and got it running, I knew I had to assemble the rest of the car for a test drive haha. The sound this rb25 motor produces is absolutely amazing! This 240sx restoration is coming along nicely!
I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up by myself. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

Yeah, even if someone will do all THIS (from searching for parts, body panels, etc) just for clout. And Im pretty most clout chasers dont even know where to start on restoring a bad shape car like mike's.

Mike, I’ve been building Japanese cars for about 30 years. I’ve seen many many people give up on cars that weren’t nearly as bad as yours. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see young people continuing this hobby that has been my life passion. Congratulations on the frost drive man! You deserve all the praise and more.
considering the car has been welded together from a million different pieces, i am legitimately surprised at how little it creaks when you take it off stands and how well the doors close

S13's creak off the assembly line. My driveway is "twisted" like you are popping cubes out of a ice tray. I used to be amazed at all the different noises my hatch with sunroof would make pulling out/in.
Dude this is insane, i'm not even into Nissan's I'm just loving the vibe and everything you do and how you handle it. I remember first watching your channel and thinking "wtf is he doing and this kind of project is never going to get finished" and a few weeks/months later i was so amazed at your persistence and motivation. I just had to support you. And now maybe a year later I'm just amazed at how much you do and how fast the progress is. I totally get it to drive YOUR car and not just a reshell. You keep so much of us car guys going and getting motivation on our projects. I have cars that have been sitting since 2017 and seeing you do the things you do, It really gets me going and seeing what's important to me as a person and getting the things done that gives me joy. You are helping so much people through hard spots in life or their projects while doing your own thing. I can't be more happy for you and where your hard work brought you! It takes a special kind of man to get a project this far!

Started watching after seeing some people share the crash video on Instagram a year or so ago, crazy to see how far this project has come. Some insane dedication to bringing this car back to life, brought a huge smile to my face to see this thing running. Hope you're well man- will be better than it was before in no time!

Thanks to you and ChrisFix I have gotten motivation and courage to work on my car despite not really having any technical "useful" knowledge. I do know all the makes and models and quirks etc. but working on my car has taught me alot and to be fair it has been fun to learn and actually do something that makes a difference and not taking it straight to the shop to have it fixed. And to all the people who say you do what you do for clout: People have dreams and emotional connections to cars, why would anyone go this far for clout? This is an incredible passion project, and that's all it should be called.

It good to see that its been running than just sitting in the garage, despite the hustle of finding a parts to rebuild & restore in its former drift glory, many months ago. I following on your rebuilding journey since I firstly saw on Facebook about your crash, and I watch the journey to see of the results. I also watched the non-rebuild videos, which I also enjoy too. Of all your video I watched, I would be apply of your advice, once me and my older cousin’s spouse would begin to work in my late-Uncle’s 1997 Corolla Big Body (so I can drive it finally because I have a memory of that car before). It was helpful because it would never be hustle to find a needed part or other additional/ unnecessary inconvinience. So, goodluck on your journey of that rebuild. I am happy to hear that it is indeed, ‘the same car’ you’ve drove before the crash. ☺️👍👏🎉

I remember when this series started thinking that it was such an insurmountable volume of work ahead of you but the progress has been wild and your positivity throughout has been absolutely inspirational.
