I own alot of Style Arc Patterns and they are fantastic! I've made many of their shift dresses along with thier famous Bob and Barry pants. I've looked at Joan. Yours are beautiful!
Style Arc has rapidly become one of my favorite indie pattern designers! The drafting is done so well, and they have definitely been working on improving their instructions. I haven’t tried the Barry pants, only the Bobs.
Sometimes I love Style Arc results and sometimes I don’t. I’ve made one dress three times now trying to get the pattern correct for me. My third is unfinished and hanging in a closet🤣 then I have these successes and I make them over and over. I think a dress form would be so helpful for me.
I bought this pattern in the summer after your comments on how much you liked it. Circumstances then prevented me from doing much sewing but I’m back on track (hopefully) & look forward to trying it out & seeing how you hack it. Thanks for letting us know about it.
Oh yay! Trust me, I certainly understand circumstances preventing you from sewing. I hope you have the opportunity to do so soon, and that love your Joan top as much as I love mine. Please share when you do have a chance to sew it up!
Oh, I love that you’re going to purchase the Joan pattern! I hope you love your versions as much as I love mine and my hacks will give you even more inspiration 😀
Hi! I'm putting together a short video on how I raise the neckline as others have the same question. Style Arc does show this technique: th-cam.com/users/shortsKK3pqRSbLyI?si=BLm4M1wwEJvpzJXc
Wow, the tops are beautiful. Yes a little low for me but luckily I am a sewist and I can fix that😅😅😅... And if I can't figure out how to do it I know how to reach out here on TH-cam to figure out how to do it. The top you're wearing It's beautiful. I love the butterfly necklace too.
Thank you! The necklace is a Betsy Johnson that my son gifted to me on my birthday Yea they’re low but it’s pretty easy to raise the neckline. Just remember to do the facing also. Glad I am not the only one that repeats a TnT pattern :) Fun Video
@@nancynewman6592 I have grown to really appreciate a TnT pattern! And get

I love ironing too 😂
It’s so soothing! I have discovered there are not too many of us that love 😂
Viscous voile is gorgeous!!!❤
Thanks!
Pretty tops! Your hair looks great, too. I haven’t seen many videos from you this year. Enjoyed this one.
Thanks for this video and introducing EmmaOneSock!
They all look great Sharon, including the top you are wearing. I think I might have to add it to my Style Arc wish-list. ❤
Thank you! My Style Arc wishlist is growing smaller, only because I’ve purchased so many of their designs already 😂
Good use of one pattern. They all look great on you. The style is very similar to the SA Adeline dress which I have. Must try and hack into a top.
Thank you! I had to look up the SA Adeline dress I wasn’t familiar with that one, yes, it does have similar lines. You should hack it 😀

Love your Joan tops!! Looks like these tops are your favorite wardrobe basics: better than a T shirt! 👍🏻
Thank you! They are definitely a wardrobe basic, I wear these much often then T-shirts.
Thanks for this video. I love your makes from this pattern and looking forward to seeing the hacks you do. Ordering the Joan pattern tonight!

Your blouses are all beautiful! Can I ask please how you raised the neckline? I like this blouse but I’m too old to be wearing low cut tops 🤣

Hi Sharon I love the tops very nice.
Thank you!
I have never made a Style Arc pattern. I might make the Joan top!
Well, as you can see, I really like it! If you do sew it I hope you like yours just as much and be sure to share!
Love all of these -
Thanks MaryEllen 😘

Thanks for letting us know what you’re wearing. ❤
You’re welcome! When I watch sewing channels, I like to know if what’s being worn was sewn in case I want to purchase the pattern myself 😀
Thank you!
Great video
i’m glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
I am interested in purchasing this pattern but how would I go about raising the neckline?
You know I just got the fact that you actually know the dates of when you have sown things. I can remember seasons.😅😅😅
Only because I took pics when I sewed them and have the date 😂
So funny because I'm wearing my Itch-to-Stitch Lemont top as I'm watching this video
@@christineblair4078 love it!!!
The Lemont is another one of my favorite top patterns.

Why is there no link to the actual pattern you’re raving about in your video?
Oh no! I forgot to add the link 🤦🏻♀️ The link is now in the description box - thank you for letting me know
