    Great video and neat crossing! Love the bell sequence! Reminds me of Dralle Road in University Park's bell sequence, or as you said an Australian one. I almost wonder if for a while NS was using the bell sequence where the bell rings when the gates lower and rise, but changed that out for a short time to ring the whole time, then back to when the gates were lowering. The bells here could have been installed between the times the first and second cycles were being used, and the maintainer may have decided to change the bell sequence. Just a theory.

      Thanks! Honestly no idea. I know they did have the bells ringing while lowering and rising from about the 80s to the mid-90s-ish, it appears.

    That GS type 3 is rather quiet. When were these signals installed?

      The GS Type 3 is facing away from the camera (as well as being on the far side of the crossing), which probably helps some. The answer to your question can be found in the description of the video.
