Would love to see a manufacturer do the Green/yellow stripe paint job for the CNJ for this model. Sadly, it seems they don't want to touch cab units much anymore. They'd never do the DR 6-4-2000 in GM&O.
CMR has made a resin DR-6-4-2000 body like this one with a chassis to fit the Proto 1000 DL-109 trucks and motor. I think they're working on converting it to a 3D resin print, so it should be available again sometime in the future.
Im so glad I only model steam, painting diesels look like a nightmare. I mean I even struggle to paint the standard PRR paint scheme which has 5 colors!
Interesting choice of locomotive to model....nice work! I have a couple of old Micro Cast chassis for Train Miniature FA-1s that would work too....hmmmm?
Incredible custom work and fine detailing! That diesel looks and sounds spectacular!
What a beauty!!! Nice job.
Thanks for the video. It's always a pleasure.
You did an outstanding job! Can't wait to see you do more hopefully
I dig the retro conversion
The locomotive looks great! I couldn't have guessed you buit it yourself.
Nice job man looks great

Nicely done

Painting diesels can be difficult! I've seen some steam engines that are just as bad though (like the Chessie 2101). :)

If you can find these shells, it could possibly work!
Hot damn, that looks spectacular!
Great project! Really looks nice.
Awesome
A thing of Beauty !!!
Very nice video that I enjoyed watching :) - Greetings NordicTram
Unfortunately these locomotives are VERY hard to find. I don't think there is a very high demand for them at the moment.
The owner of PNW Resins decided to retire a few months ago, so it’s possible these models won’t be around again. :(
