PANORAMA OVER THE ETNA VOLCANO
This live webcam is installed in the village of Agira at about 700 meters above sea level, in the province of Enna, Sicily. The panorama taken by this webcam offers a view of the valley below and of the “Pozzillo Lake”. In the background is the Etna Volcano, with its 3,350 meters above sea level, which can be properly seen when the sky is cleared of clouds of course. The top of the volcano is about 43 km as the crow flies from its installation point and on clearer days it can be seen almost entirely. During the Volcano frequent eruptions it’s possible to admire live, from its summit, powerful explosions and spectacular emissions of fumes and impressive lava flows.
