While there would still be a risk of radiation, it would have been confined to a small area as would be ground spillage, not atmospheric. Science lesson now over LOL!

1240 and 640 AM were the correct CONELRAD frequencies circa 1950s. They are no longer the correct frequencies for Nuclear Emergency information.
