Ok I have lenovo ideapad 330, I am using it right now. This guy explains like this laptop is a trash which is not. I can do all my works here, fast and easy. Not all of us can afford to buy expensive laptop that's most likely the same.
I just got one this year & I like it so far. The only things it could have had is at least two more USB ports would have neen nice but nothing a USB hub cant solve. Mine has an i5 CPU & 8GB of ram which is pretty much the standard now for most marketed laptops. The only major issue I have been having is DCS World seems to crash a few minutes into playing it but thats probably an issue with the game not so much the laptop.

I just finished cleaning the hard drive and I've ran ccleaner wipe free space, cleared out uwanted programs, edited settings to speed it up and it still can't even run roblox.
Also, the AMD E2 is REALLY BAD, hence your purchase was bad - in this price range Intel is king. Sell that piece of crap while it's new and get a laptop with a Pentium at least, although a new Celeron would be leagues above the E series.

You could point out which usb port is the the 3.0 port. Lenovo decided to not make the 3.0 port to standard BLUE color with the SS logo for the port identicator label on the port. It's hard to determine which port is what! Theg look the same for some reason on Lenovo's design. Plus having them both BLACK does NOT HELP!

I currently have that laptop (brought it yesterday) and I am pleased with it all I do is surf facebook watch youtube videos and it works fine with me except for the batteries life but other than that I love it.
I have bought lenovo ideapad 330 ryzen 5 with 8gigs of ram just for 28k from Flipkart and it is blazingly fast , it has an empty slot for ssd and you don't need any caddy for that it already has , just order the ssd and install it , a 240gb will cost you 2500 inr approx and believe me you will get better performance than any i5 laptops. The only drawback of this laptop is its tiny battery but for this price its worth it.
Maybe it doesn't have one. They sometimes install an additional storage drive (probably SSD) in the place of the optical drive. Does the DVD drive appear in "This PC"?

Ive been owning a Lenovo Ideapad 330 for more than 3 years now, its been nothing but problems for me... The first months had the Keyboard working wrong with for example pressing the letter P it wrote P' or QR instead... I got it fixed for free but later the battery stopped working well and now it lasts for 1-1.5 hours unplugged, later after a year it started running pretty slow when it was plugged in, even after paying for a fix it still refuses to work well, not a good computer at all 😓 More stuff to say is that it comes with only one language (mime being only in spain spanish) and I was unable to change it, also the screen displays inaccurate colors, warm colors specifically are displayed more blue-ish and gray-ish Also with the years some pieces started to get out by their own and the sign in screen have started to take way more time to let me log in, its not a good computer even for its price... Its performance, battery life and problems that came with the computer make it so frustrating to use, better go and buy another computer brand

This laptop is worst, you are right. I've had this for a year and now it's battery life is done for, the most of the keys on keyboard doesn't work and takes 15 minutes to start and will automatically restart itself again. Cursor tends to freeze 10 to 20 minutes. 😑
I have this exact laptop. It was completely unusable out of the box. I changed the harddisk to a small hdd and the performance at least doubled. It's still not great but this is the cheapest way to make this laptop ok. Change the crap hdd

Though I liked this product and isn't that bad as you have said,but its worth noting that even though it has i5 8th gen processor it does not deliver the performance that is expected. The boot-up takes long and had troubleshooting such as black dim-lit unresponsive screen.After a few background research I came to know that it is a common issue with Lenovo. But I think its almost worth the price. But honestly I don't think this ideapad 330 because its way too different from what I use.

I have ideapad 330 with i3 gen 8. I have installed additional ram making it 12 gb and 240 gb ssd. Its now smooth as butter.

I got the same laptop of Intel i5 8th gen 1TB HDD 8GB RAM DDR4 and it's performance is awesome and boots up in 15-20 sec
