I loved this vlog. The second polka dot umbrella just seemed to finish it off, and I like the fact that you can move them if you need shade if you’re working outside. Sooo cute. Today I had a few yellow squash, I boiled it after cutting into cubes and made mashed squash, much like mashed potato but so much more flavorful and with a bit of butter and a few tablespoons of grated Colby Jack cheese, I used a little of the water I boiled it in to make it creamier. So good and healthy!
Even here in Australia 37 in considered hot. We also close the blinds and do all the things you are doing to cope with the heat. Lovely video. I have to ask with you getting up so early - what is your bed time? It's so inspiring 💕

Jousie, you might want to consider moving the dog's bed into the living room instead of having it next to the hob. If I remember correctly the Aga stove constantly stays hot. Therefore, it could be making the dog bed extra hot.

Oh gosh don’t wish any more 40 degree heatwaves on us 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve struggled so much really overheated - does my heart condition no good at all - today has been fab much cooler and we have seriously been in the garden all day (06:30 to 08:00 to cool down from a warm night) then again at 11:00 with a brunch toasted sausage sarnie - with marmalade (I BLAME YOU CHARLIE) then we stayed in the garden - have only just come in at 18:00 for a shower 🚿 (after hubby) then getting some Seoul fried chicken delivered from a place in Cheam village it’s really amazing - such choices if different sauces to have with the crispiest chicken ever. Am making some chilled and spicy salads to share with my bestie and her husband who are going to join us. I am so excited that your greenhouse is having its final bits fitted - I can’t wait to see it all 😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩

Josie, if you want to get more lift on the top of your head make sure the curler or roller gets as close to the roots for that section of hair. If you wind far away from the roots that will give a flatter look on the top. That works well for my hair.x 😊
I can answer the shawarma question-it’s a big chunk of beef or lamb or chicken on a stand-up rotisserie and they slice downward. My ex owns a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant-pretty healthy foods :)

Shawarma is the style of cooking of the meat. So in the Middle East, sharwarma means that it was cooked off the huge, massive skewer with heat roasting the outer layers which are then shaved off for your sandwiches. The bread is usually wrap style thin bread. But yours look delicious! ❤️

Josie, if you want to get more lift on the top of your head make sure the curler or roller gets as close to the roots for that section of hair. If you wind far away from the roots that will give a flatter look on the top. That works well for my hair.x 😊
I can answer the shawarma question-it’s a big chunk of beef or lamb or chicken on a stand-up rotisserie and they slice downward. My ex owns a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant-pretty healthy foods :)
