He seems pretty humble and you seem pretty high maintanence and into material things. Funny because he will eventually make a ton of money. Let's see if that changes him.
My paycheck is also the stronger one out of my boyfriend and I, but just like you all we take turns paying for things and dont ever say things like "oh you owe me this much for this and that" bc we both know we plan to get married very soon so we go about money as OUR money if that makes sense! It does feel a little weird hearing you Miki repeatedly mention that you pay for everything because Kevin cannot afford it and that even the house is yours and that Kevin doesnt help pay for much. I think its bc Im just more sensitive but I would definitely be hurt if my partner kept mentioning it lol! However, its not anything that isnt true and Im sure Kevin is emotionally stronger than me 😂
I think she’s insecure because she’s constantly getting comments about how she’s a gold digger and Kevin makes more money than her or is going to have so much more money than her some people basically say she’s a whore that’s only after his money so I get why she’s constantly explaining but it’s her relationship and Kevin and her know each other so there’s no reason for her to keep explaining
One of my financial goals for 2022 is most definitely having a bigger emergency fund! I've got my credit looking better and I'm doing better with saving, but I have to get that emergency fun looking good!
I have been working hard to pay off ALL of my credit card debt. The plan is to have it all paid off so then I can focus on paying off my student loans.
Hello Miki! I love watching your videos, especially ones like this. I appreciate all the financial/life advice you give and the medical advice Kevin gives. I'm currently taking a couple gap years between undergrad and medical school so my financial goal this year is to learn how to budget. I would like to travel during my time off as well as invest/save so I (hopefully) don't have to take out too many loans!

American is really lagging behind other developed countries in terms of retirement fund. I live in Australia now, my employer is compulsorily to pay 10% of the salary towards my 403B(called superannuation here), but lots of them pays more (like mine pays 17%). And employee can also choose pay up to 5% to mitigate tax obligations and for that, employer needs to pay another 3% towards superannuation contribution. That really makes a difference when you retire. Last but not least, these retirement funds are perpetually tax free, which means when you cash out, you don’t pay a dime to the government, it’s all legit cash.
They are so cute. My financial goal for '22 is to save for our dream honeymoon! And invest in upcoming small biz! And of course pay off my past debt (that I'm not adding to) I'm doing good in recent yrs but still have an average amount left.
My financial goal - is to pay off my debt and then begin saving for a home (currently renting an apartment) I’d love to win the giveaway to help pay off my debt! Great informative video! Very inspiring!
Love this video! Have same experience with my fiance and I. We got engaged first then moved in together. From then on, as our relationship grew (for context, I had student loans and he doesn't), we werent necessarily splitting the costs 50-50 but rather more on who is able to pay more. Granted our incomes are almost the same but most of my income goes to student loans. For this year, I am almost done with my student loans and that is definitely one of my goals for this year. Hopefully debt free in 3 months. :) Maybe I will go back to this comment in 3 months and let you know if I am debt free :p
1st I have to say THANK YOU to Credit Sesame for sending me to your channel!!! Y’all are so fun and your video is really informative! I really don’t know much about investing 😩! So my financial goal of 2022 at this point is to start saving for Christmas. I realize that might not be a “goal” for some but for me it is! I struggle every year to provide a good Christmas and this year I’m changing all that!! Thank you guys! Now to catch up on all your other vids! 🥰🥰🥰

I never knew being an adult would be so tiring. pretty tired with mental health, especially with the trauma I had when I was a teen after getting school bullied. ever since I was 17, graduated, I didn't continue my studies, and been keeping myself at home. and the only thing that kept me going was tv drama. my local drama, k drama, movies and many more. it was only till this year, my mom found out that the current house that my parents been paying for, it cant be given to us, both me and my sister, the house in the future. it felt like I got awaken from the years of dreaming, ive literally been doing nothing for the past years, and what my mom said kinda hit me with reality. it literally meant, in the future I won't be having or afford a house for me to live in. and my mom were kinda sure that my sister wouldn't help me out in the future especially if I don't have a place to stay, she's sure I would lose a pillar of support once she's no longer around, as she knows the only person I could rely on, especially currently, was only her, my mom. as not only my mom, even I know I couldn't rely on my sis as she someone who's intelligent and headstrong, and friends comes in first before family. I never know being adult would be this tiring, even my childhood was pretty stressed
