I think Liv Lux is one of the saddest examples of this. She started out SO HOT and as a fan favorite, but by the end of the season, the fanfom even seemed to not care about her anymore. It's one thing to flop challenges, but to go from fan favorite to ignored within the course of a single season is truly sad... she deserves better!! I hope she can get a redemption on All Stars

Alexis Michelle is hands down the best example of this in my opinion, so I was kind of surprised she didn't make the list. I mean, she almost won the Rusical, won the Snatch Game, and then bottomed 4 weeks in a row.
I think Black Peppa from the latest season of Drag Race UK should be on there, she won the first challenge and spent the next 7 weeks of the competition never placing in the top again and either safe or bottom 2

We were all expecting her to bring the fashion and the personality but she's really done neither (Besides her West End look that was so cool). Now she's just joined Jonbers and Pixie as the seasons extras until the inevitable crowning of Cheddar or Danny

The whole of season 14 faded out (at least for me, I was not interested at all) towards the end except Daya and Camden! Started out with great potential as a season, but then half the season nobody went home and by the end I was bored out of my mind.
outside of the US seasons, Viñas Deluxe from Drag Race Philippines fits this as well. high, win, high, high to bottom three, bottom three, eliminated. she was the biggest front runner at the start and everyone on the DRPH subreddit was rooting for her. but something fizzled out a bit. she’s still my fave from the session though, and an all-rounder!

The fact that Lineysha and Acid Betty turned out these legendary, and honestly sorta similar, looks on their seasons and neither won for it still bothers me. Roxxxy and Kim Chi both turned out rly good looks too, but Lineysha and Acid Betty deserved wins for those looks.
If you do this again with international seasons, you should consider including Vinas Deluxe. She had a track record of high, win, high (i know shes safe in episode 3 but a judge said that if she was on the other team, she wouldve won so i consider her as high), high, and then goes down to low, low, and finally her elimination. From what I've heard from viewers, she is an amazing lipsyncer but in the episode she was eliminated in, she hurt her ankle and couldnt do much for the lipsync.
DeLa is a special case. I think being low during that comedy challenge was her death sentence. She should have won the next two challenges over Bianca (who kept repeating silhouetes) and Courtney (her animal costume was anything but) but handing her the win woulda have meant having someone seriously compete against Bianca and Adore (favored by producers) and that couldn’t be.
Funny thing about Vanjie, is that she genuinely could have ended the season with 3 wins. For the first sewing challenge, the diva worship challenge, and the makeover challenge. Give her the story of being eliminated in episode 1 in season 10 and then doing the exact opposite and have her win in episode one of season 11. "Thank you miss Vangie.... I just thanked myself." Is pretty unilaterally agreed upon to be the best part of that episode, she was the strongest in her team and really the only reason Nina won I'd because she was team captain, but we've had non team captains win in team challenges before. And for the makeover, she finally did what the judges asked and stopped wearing bodysuits, so she could have easily gotten a win there. It funny how a few changes in the producers visions and editing choices could completely change the course of the season.
