The 1.28 type sensor on the latest iPhone is good enough for all needs (my Android phone Xiaomi 13t uses a sensor of a similar size), at least up to ISO 1600 without crop because currently the AI denoise feature on Adobe Camera Raw is quite perfect. Unfortunately, now smartphone manufacturers choose 24mm as the main camera. If only the main camera on a smartphone uses a longer focal length such as 35mm. Or at least between 28-35mm. Thanks for the excellent review of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have the 15 Pro Max as well, and at 11:44, just wondering, do you think future iOS updates would allow pictures taken with 3x (70mm) zoom be directly cropped from the main 48mp sensor like the 28mm (1.2x) and 35mm (1.5x) zoom (Basically have 0.5x, 1x, 1,2x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x and 5x zoom options as default), or is it a hardware issue that cannot be fixed? Which one would you prefer in terms of camera? 15 pro or pro max?
And do you think that 3x of pro model does the job and that 5x of pro max on telephoto isn’t that worth it?
Thank you in advance.
what audio equipment do you use when vlogging?
For the indoor A-Roll, Shure MV7. For the outdoor, RODE Wireless Pros!
Are you selling the pictures as a wallpaper pack? 👀
Can you share your wallpaper
Was this shot on a iPhone 14 ? What’s up with the 3x camera?
Only 15 pro max got the 5x lens. 15 pro did not
Please share those pictures 🙏 for wallpapers please give it to us
Just curious, which one is your daily driver the Pro or Pro Max ?
I like smaller phones so I ended up returning the MAX and kept the Pro.
Nice ! I do love smaller phones as well ! However, the battery, had me stick with the Max 😮
It’s a shame that pictures taken with 3x zoom is worse off in quality than at 5x (120mm) zoom.
Thank you so much for watching If they can increase the megapixel count of the main sensor, then theoretically we can get a “3x” focal length like what you’re meaning!

Nice job on the weight loss Vivian!
Do you shoot 4k 30 or 60?
With the SSD, I shot 4K 60

I heard somewhere that we’re suppose to keep solid state drives away from magnets. Hmmmm.
Guess I heard wrong.
iPhone 15 pro camera is best or 15 pro max camera is best plzz suggest me sir☺️
Thanks for the detailed video, this made me to decide to go ahead with my iPhone 15 Pro Max (from IPhone X Max) instead of Sony A74 (currently having old Nikon D5500)..the good part with IPhone is versatile and easy access..also the storage space improved in the new iPhone..the issue with the any Pro camera is that the expensive lenses and it’s need different lenses for different setups..so I will stick with my iPhone upgrade..
If you went phone over real camera this hobby is not for you
For people who want to shoot TH-cam vids, social media content, travel, vlogging, fitness shots, etc, iPhone 15 pro is perfect for the job and very portable. Phone cameras have come a long way and will only continue to get better. But yeah for pro work obviously you would need an actual camera with lenses
One of your best video Jason !!! It’s very well said and I also think iPhone 15 Pro max is the best!
thanks so much Benji!!
Do you guys as a photographer and everyday oerson plus if possile developer too who use Mac, do you use iPhone or android if anrdoid which one? Any differences and eseential functions that can only done on one over others?
Mow test the samsung 23ultra
Ohhh I heard "my name is Jason Bourne" xD
What's the megapixel count, when using the 75mm equivalent (3x) option? The crop has to be brutal.
It’s optical zoom, Yes optical.
Pro Max is 120mm 5x zoom.
12mp RAW output.
@@flowagency4336 I heard the Pro Max replaced the 75mm lens with the 120mm lens, and that 75mm is now cropped from the 24mm lens.
@@careylymanjonesCorrect Tony Northrup has done a video on the 15 Pro max and was not impressed as you are trading quality in the mid range for quality at the longer range, yes the crop is brutal. The video shows a chart of the crop effects.
Why don't you try using the pro or manual mode to push the iphone to the edge, as the bigger cameras are manual only. This might be an interesting video
apple limits manual use to 12MPx. Everything but 48MPx looks really bad in lightroom/photoshop when u edit pictures.
