I master the ring muscle ups, the snatch, the clean and jerk, butterfly pull-ups etc. Yet I'm like a drunk ape with a skipping rope. 10 months of practicing Double-Under yet no progression. Is god telling me something?
+Olivers Grauengaard I feel you. Just redid 15.3, can do seven unbroken muscleups no problem, but can't do sets of five on the double unders to save my life. I see your comment is a couple years old, are you a master at double unders by now and if so how did you do it?
Don't jump harder or faster. Start with some singles at a nice slow pace (say "one and two and three") and then drive the wrists faster to propel the rope faster. Look ahead, keep a tight stomach, and don't try to jump faster. You should be jumping slower than you would for single-unders.
Oh Dan Bailey. What an awesome coach! His tutorial on on bending arms to early helped me PR my clean and jerk by 7.5kg.
Beards and Barbells made it into a crossfit video!! Bearded and proud.
this helped me out alot. keep the vids coming :)
