Another awesome Vlog! Great to see you two dedicated to daily workouts, have watched nearly 100 PH Vloggers channels & have enjoyed most all of them...............But, 'It's Me' is Tops hands down. Corey & Rachel are the Real Deal.
Thank you!
Just a suggestion but you should change the name of your channel to :HONEY YOU READY 😂😂😂
😂😂😂Nice one!
Oh that’s good 😂
😴 💤
Of course !
this actually made me burst out laughing
Welcome to the crazy and busy streets of Manila, Corey and Rachel! enjoy your time here! ❤ Ingat kayo!
Thank you!! 😊
Your interaction with the doggies is priceless, warms our hearts. Keep up the great work
Thank you!
Wow, so modern and well planned compared to much of the Philippines but I’m still not a big city person either. Nice for a weekend getaway
Exactly, we had fun for 5 days but could not live there.
hey bro, visited Makati a long time ago, I was really impressed, especially compared to the 3rd world country reputation the Phils have in my place... Makati is actually way cleaner and safer than any city in my place! happy to see that you had a great time guys
We were very impressed as well compared to the other cities we’ve been to here
@@ItsMe_Philippines Impressed with Makati? I'm guessing u haven't been to BGC in Taguig, Metro Manila.
Not yet but it's on the list @@chaoticheaven17
Makati is very nice. Hope you get to see the Greenbelt area of Makati when you return, also BGC looks amazing and a walkable clean modern city. We’re planning on living in Makati for the first several months while looking for something more in the Province for our retirement later this year. ✌🏻
Nice, keep me updated on that and we want to go back and visit BGC this year.
Makati is where my PH adventures started over 17 years ago...
I enjoyed staying there and each day we had a driver to take us to operations in Laguna and one other location...
The area looks better than ever, and glad you enjoyed...
Like you two, I'd prefer the province areas though...
I managed to get out to see other areas while involved with the project there all those years ago, and was great...
Sorry to hear about the gimble, why do they always break at the most inconvenient times...
Anyway, thanks for sharing...Nice trip!
🙏🙏🙏
👍😎👍
Thank you for the positive comment, my friend! Very surprised at how clean and organized the city was.
Been there a few times. It’s the CBD of the metro area that’s why it’s well organised unlike old Manila where it’s as chaotic as the cities in the provinces. Anyway, 3 places in provincial Philippines I’ve been to that’s been well run are Olongapo, Puerto Princessa, and Davao City. IT park in Cebu City would be a close 4th but it’s still part of Cebu City so if you’ve been there you know.
Good comment thank you and Davao is on my list for this year. @@canto10mosha65
Check out BGC, its newer and even more modern and not too far from Makati. There's also Ortigas and Eastwood with regard to cleaner and more modern/ western development
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for appreciating the Philippines and for visiting Makati City. Have a good one.
It was our pleasure!
There's so many nice and clean places in Metro Manila (NCR). Glad it changed your perspective of the cities in the Philippines. It's a developing country, they're constantly improving everything.
You guys CRACK me up!!!!
Raquel's personality is shining through. I LOVE her expressions. Please zoom in her expressions with sound effects (lol)
You both are evolving into a lovable comedic couple on TH-cam!!!!!!
Thank you!
Makati is beautiful. My wife's family lives there but in the older section, but close enough to walk around.
Nice, we really enjoy the area.
I'm looking forward to being there in makati in march for the first time in Philippines. It looks like a nice city to start my holiday
It was nice to visit but did not feel like the Philippines to us
@@ItsMe_Philippines yes big cities aren't the true resemblance of the beautiful country. I'm only staying 2 days as that is where I'm flying in (manila) from Sydney
Sphere Hotel, have stayed there multiple times, great location for walking, have a great day
Thank you and the same to you
crazy its your first time in makati. i loved it when i was there. amazing people too
Very surprised by it and I should have visited sooner.
I'm in makati now for the fist time as well. Very impressed. Bgc as well...great change of pace for a visit to manila. Mahalo 🤙🏽
Nice!
Btw Corey, much thanks to your video's, it made my 1st visit to Phillipines & Bangkok so much easier, and familiar. Salamat & khab khun khrup!🤙🏽🙏🏽
Happy to help my friend! @@carey8250
I can say from living in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania that the Philippines cities are 10 times better than it doesn't even come close and as I'm starting to realize that these countries in Asia start modernizing they are going to be nicer than America because our stuff is all built from back in the day it's all outdated if you go to a hotel that's so how dated old dark feels dirty and then I see these places and stay at these places and it's like wow I get these beautiful 4 star resorts for 60 bucks I can't even stay at one star hotel for that price here anymore I'm looking at resorts down in Florida forget about it I'm out of the cut off my arm and give my leg I mean forget it I'm better off just spending that money on a flight to the Philippines and staying at resorts there I don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars here and there on and stay but it better be nice in here there's just nothing nice for that amount of money
Not only do you get a 5 star resort for cheap but you’ll also get 5 star service in those places. The best part is the servers don’t even expect a tip but if you do, (any amount like $2), they will be so appreciative and grateful. Fair warning though tips will usually be incorporated in your bill but it’s still relatively cheap even with sales tax.
Vert true! I've visited every large city in the US and none make my top ten list
Lots of fancy stuff there even has a Bugati dealership, Would go to Makati to renew visa when i was there. Always good times.
Bugati, now that's a nice car!
When I go to the Philippines every February for our many golf tournaments…my go to stay while I’m in Metro Manila is at New World Makati hotel right across the street from Greenbelt mall. Love Makati and BGC area. We play golf tournaments allover the Philippines. Manila, Pampanga, Clark, Cavite, Cebu city, CDO, and back to Manila. 30 days. Next year we go to Bacolod and Iloilo
Bacolod is one of my favorite cities along with IT park Cebu! What's the tour called? Id like to look it up to see it when it's local. Thanks for the comment.
I was in Makati in 2012 and really enjoyed it. We stayed at the Ritz Astor Hotel along with my brother, his wife and kids. My brother and his large extended family live and work on Guam. I really enjoyed walking through the Greenbelt Mall and browsing through the various shops. The place is nice but expensive, almost stateside prices. I'm originally from Guam but have lived in Oregon since 1995. I was visiting my relatives with my two sons and staying in my brother's condo in Tumon Bay.
We went to Manila for 4 days and that was about all I could manage. There were 10 of us all together and you can imagine the restaurant bills everytime we went out to eat. Nothing less than $500+ US dollars and we took turns paying for it.
We went to Mamou's for steak and I had the biggest ribeye steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. It was bigger than the large plate it was served on. Great place to visit if you have the budget but not to stay. I would probably be bankrupt if I stayed there for a month.
I really enjoy your videos. Great shots of Makati. It really is a nice place to visit for a few days. The Greenbelt Mall is self-contained and you could spend hours walking through it. Just keep your wallet in your pocket.
lol true
Nice1, watching from Boracay 😊 Hey and all, when watching Cory & Rachel's content, please let the ads run on their videos, this way we all can add up a little more support for their content creation and give back on their excellent effort.
Thanks for the comment, as we both know, that's how the channel grows!
Enjoy the Beautiful beach of Boracay beautiful couple!
Have a blast and enjoy every seconds of it!😍
Thank you🥰
Please by no means feel like you have to. But a 2 hour long vlog would be so amazing!
Thank you!
A very modern looking city! Glad to see you and Tracy are enjoying it. ...lol
Myself and Rachel enjoyed it lol
I'm always happy to hear/see you, it's very refreshing. Unfortunately, I can't follow your example after a stroke. Greetings from Germany
Well, I hope you can still visit my friend! And thank you for the comment. I really appreciate the positivity.
Wow! Your experience in Makati was different than mine. I enjoyed your walks more. I stayed at Guijo Suites in Makati which was on a block that they fenced off at night. My walk at night was on a sketchy road, not completely frightening, but I saw a few homeless people sleeping outside and a couple of bars with the girls hanging outside trying to invite me in. Coolest thing that I saw on my walk, a representation of Philippines life, was friends sitting around a table playing mahjong.
, Interesting. Those big city so different parts, and they change by location
The pedestrian tunnels are really convenient if you know where you’re going. 😁 my first time there I experienced that too.
True!
Thanks for the new video! We need them daily! 😂
Oh that would be a full time job lol
I like Makati I could live there the malls are some of the best in the Philippines
Loved all the outside restaurants!
09:24 Nice transition! You've mentioned your gimbal broke but isn't there some type of active stabilisation on the FX30?
Yes and it does a good job but nothing like a gimbal. Plus it crops the image when it’s on
Someone's been watching some b-role instructional videos. Your cinematography stepped up in this video for sure!
Shocked to hear that because I just pulled the new Gimbal out of the box! Needed to practice on something!
Great segment guys, looking forward to the next one.
Will be uploaded shortly!
Well….if Makati shocked you, BGC will blow your mind. It might be a bit too much for you though because you like the simpler life. BGC and Makati are great cities to visit and to work at, but when you reach a certain age, a more relaxed environment would make more sense. If I ever go back to live in the Philippines, I would probably live in Palawan. I love watching you guys. I’m glad you found each other. ❤❤❤
It only shocked me because I didn't know the Philippines had a city this organized. I've visited most of the largest cities in the world and haven't seen this level of organization, or infrastructure.
@@ItsMe_Philippines if and when the 2 of you get a chance to go on a mini vacation, take that beautiful wife of yours to Taguig City and visit the Venice Grand Canal Mall. We love seeing foreigners of the Philippines make TH-cam contents in the big cities along with different islands. Once the locals see that you are a vlogger, your TH-cam channel will skyrocket to 100k subscribers in no time. They LOVE vloggers in Metro Manila.
@@Louisa-Reyes Great suggestion, thank you
THANK YOU 4 THE TOUR VERY NICE
Thank you for watching
Beautiful city. Huge population. Sorry about your gimbal. Nice hotel room and gym. Yummy food. Did you notice those 2 guys in the background waving? Can't wait for the next vlog. Have fun and be safe...🎥😃👍👌👊🙏
Not until your comment lol thanks
"Of course!" Is her favorite saying. LOL. Great video once again.
I’m making coffee mugs lol
@@ItsMe_Philippines That is funny!
Greenbelt is awesome. If you're sticking around a few days, cut across the overpass from 3 through Landmark and into Glorietta malls - you can get lost for days in there.
Thanks for the tips!
Awesome video, I will be there in mid march. Love to meet you 2.
Thank you. We will be back home by then though and off to our next adventure
nice vlog! I like your wife! She looks so fun and kind! Hope to meet you te!
Thank you! Yes, she is amazing and kind and that’s why I put a ring on her finger
You guys really make a great couple.... I know you know this, But you really hit the jackpot with that amazing lady... She's definitely a life partner, or as my Grandfather would say..."A woman to ride the river with"
As always enjoying the videos and the great vibes. Thanks for brightening my day stuck in the freezing Midwest.
Thank you and I really appreciate the positive comment. I created a life that I don’t need a vacation from and I have an amazing partner to enjoy it with.
That’s high end of the Philippines , BCG IS also nice clean city next to makati
I keep saying that in the comments so we’ll have to check it out soon
awesome bro 🎉🎉🎉🎉 you found a rare gem. Truly happy for ya 😊
Thanks bro!
Hoy ate naman… represent the Philippines!!! lol congratulations ate!!! LOL
Hello..
thank you po🥰 proud tayo 😍
I'd say the gravitational pull is from Makati towards BGC as the business capital of the Philippines. There are some more traditional barangay areas in Makati that even have a palengke
Interesting
Nice, I can see why you live in the province though. Good yo always see other places. Looking forward to your next video 👍
It's nice to see for a couple days but that's it
@@ItsMe_PhilippinesYes, I don’t like big cities at all and could not live in one no matter what country 👍😊
Think you will love Rockwell better more peaceful amd quite. Argua By Rockwell is nice place to stay next to Power Plant Mall.
My wife and I stay at Ascott Makati twice a year. Makati is very nice.
Very clean and organized.
We’ll be arriving in Philippines in few weeks. Not sure how far is Makati to BGC staying at Grand Hyatt but we’ll be scouting condos in BGC. We’re not buying since we’ll be checking other areas like something close to the beach. Hopefully next year our big move will happen. My husband and I love your channel, always funny. I was born there but been in US many years. But still excited about going to local markets. We’re excited for this new adventure in our life. Keep your videos coming we learn a lot and always make us laugh. Btw we’ve been married 26 years and my husband still says “honey are you ready?” Though I’m not that late like your wifey lol🥰
lol thank you for the great comment
Bee-Keeper the movie ROCKS!!! Seen it 4 times lol
hahaha yes it was great!
I see you got it up ( your subscriptions) haha
lol no comment
Glad you enjoyed Makati. Its been almost 5 years since I was there the last time, time to go back :)
You should!
Cheryl and I both love the videos. Keep up the good work.
By the way...Cheryl loves your kitchen..
Thank you!
Hi bro another great video and don't feel too bad about getting lost, my 3rd time in the Philippines I came into Manila from the US heading to Butuan city and started exploring and got on a bus in Manila and got lost lol. Luckly I got back to the airport in time to get my connection to CDO. Thanks for another video.
lol yeah I hear you bro. I thought it was funny because I saw a four Starbucks within within two minutes and normally if I can find one I use that as my landmark is so rare here lol
We stayed in Makati Diamond Residences In November which is owned by the San Miguel Family.. really nice! Glad you had fun, i'll be back for El Nido first of March. Stay safe
Enjoy!
Tondo 🇵🇭 is the jewel 💍 of Manila ❤
Haha at .22 seconds in cat about to throw a pawn at the camera lol Philippines cats a feisty
She's not nice unless I have snacks lol
Love the video. I stayed at the Venice grand canal mall condos overlooking the canal. Makati is a great place. Expensive but great
Yes, I completely agree with you. I found the cost very similar to the west. All in all I’m glad we visited and definitely enjoyed our trip.
You guys are great. Love that catch phrase. “Of course”. 😀
lol
Coming from a Man from Chicago…I’m from South Mississippi a very small town like your post ! Stay safe God bless
Thank you my friend
Bro I dam near feel out the bed when you talked about the Nike emblem falling off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just say it how it is lol
@@ItsMe_Philippines Priceless!!!! 🤣
Bizu Patisserie, one of my favorite restaurants in Makati. 10 hr roast beef is tasty
Nice!
hilarious! you two makin fun of each other. great vid bro
haha thank you
Manila city is not huge but NCR is big and has 13 plus cities within it, such as Makati, Taguig, Quezon City and so it goes on. If you want modern its Makati which is the business center of the Philippines and BGC is again ultra modern and actually very like an American city!
I keep reading that so we will have to visit soon! Thank you
Great Gide of makati. Loved seeing thru yur eyes and comments.
😊 thank you
I've been to Makati, visited a few of museums, art galleries and other places. It certainly doesn't look like the rest of Manila, except for the smell, that is the same everywere in Manila.
Some people say that living in Makati is as expensive (or more) as living in any other USA city.
It easily could be
Except there are places in Metro Manila that are arguably better or at least on par than Makati especially BGC in Taguig.
Looking forward to the next video 😮which is the reason you went to The City 😅😅 can’t wait to see
Coming soon! Actually we went for two reasons so one video will be out in the next two days and the last one.... maybe late next week.
Wow you're in my neck of the woods, the village is called Salcedo Village. My husband and I split our time between the beach house in Aklan and our condo in Salcedo Village. Next time, go to Rockwell.
Will do!
Nice Corey!! We have a place in Bulacan and the house is in a sub division called Ameresa 2. My wife has Filipino birth certificate so we bought the plot and had house built. Only 1500 sq ft but we only go for 30 days. If you would like to connect and compare notes let me know. My wife’s family are in Makati also (West Rembo). We still work for now in Tacoma. Talk to you when you get this.
Sounds good my friend feel free to shoot me an email so we can discuss off-line. My emails and every video description in case you don’t have it.
Nice to see you both at the Financial district in Makati.
Thank you
You guys are the Best!! :)
Yeah she's ok I guess 😂
I agree, always entertaining & Fun to watch!
Another cool post! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
My wife (Filipina), daughter, and I are seriously considering retiring to the Philippines. It looks like we could have a great life. Your videos are quite informative and helpful to us. Thanks! 🙏
I've never seen sushi topped with bonito flakes! As a Japanese, it's so unique :)
I never saw it living in Japan but it was good!
This dude hit the jackpot.
Yes, yes I did
Lived here in Makati since August.. 2nd Street Oysters is a worthy visit.
Use to go there daily 😉 Still go once a week
Good to know!
Nice one ... watching you guys at this moment.
Thank you
Tracy would wear high heels to the gym , That city seems its new infrustructure everywhere. very nice.
And fishnets
Great video as always guys! But come on The Beekeeper was not that good xD Sry statham
Why is rated number 1 still and breaking all his records? 😂
Hello sir its me again, no muscle jokes I was there last year in that place very nice. Baclaran is a place where all the locals go shopping you should go. Also hit up the SM mall of asia in Pasay very close to Makati.
Thanks for the tip I'll add that to my list
If you stay in Rockwell, chances are you made a lot of celebrities. I see 1 or 2 actresses a day.an actors. And many Vongressmen and businessmen with bodyguards it's pretty cool to see much different from province.
Way different around here
Love the workouts & protein videos I was visiting my fiancé in Oct and involved in a scooter accident still recovering no gym 😢but will be back soon with the weights I guess it’s obvious I comment without watching entire post enjoy be safe ! 5 broke ribs collapsed lung broke clavicle bad real bad on Camiguin island 🏝️ not great medical but that’s a story in its self !
Ouch! I broke three years ago and it SUCKED! Pinched nerve that would drop me moving wrong. No lung issue thankfully. Get well soon my friend!
I love Makati…I stayed at the Best Western….I would stay there again next time I go….
Nice!
Always enjoy your videos. :)
Thank you!
Doing great. I enjoy the banter between you and "Tracy" more than anything else. Hope to find someone who has the Comical attitude....and apatite as Rachel. lol
lol thank you
If you have some time, try to visit in BGC, it is just a neighbor city of Makati city.
I keep hearing that I added to my list
Loved this video this is a city that I could retire to. I guess at heart I am a city person. The diversity of this country is remarkable. It is a shame that some older American men have disrespected this country and the women in it as being a destination for beautiful woman that are easy to obtain for money. I am glad you have debunked the stereotype of a 73 year old man with a teenage bride.
I hope some day I will find you in South Korea doing a travel log
We plan on visiting there next year! and thank you
@@ItsMe_Philippines I watch a lot of Korean Dramas and would also like to visit I live in Massachusetts and I can get to some European Countries faster then to California That long flight is a turn off to Asia travel
I take the 11pm flight and then just sleep. Nothing to me for weeks of wonderful memories. @@nancyamaral5620
Hey, you both are too cute 😊Makati looks like the city life for sure.

I find your vlog hilariously entertaining. Love Itchy City. 😂
Thank you and I laugh at our videos lol
Your wife is right... makaTI = itchy in Tagalog. Before its development in the 60s, the place was basically swampland with ( naturally ) lots of mosquitoes. The main economic action was in Manila and Binondo ( Chinatown ) at the time. Now MA KA TI sounds fancy 😂
good info lol
Ha, you went and stayed at the Sphere with that restaurant right next door (free breakfast) with the 7/11 across the street, right? Stayed there last year; however, it kind of sucks since you're not right next to everything and have to grab around. If you get the chance, try the Ascott Makati out, right next to Glorietta 3, amazing spot.
Thanks for the tip! First time there, so overall happy with it, especially because of the low price
Yeah, the Sphere is pretty good priced, they have monthly options as well. Another good spot in Manila is the Somerset, a sister company of the Ascott group. They have one right near the Sphere and one next to greenbelt. I haven't been to Dumaguete yet but my fiancé out there are most likely will settle in Butuan in the next few years. I appreciate your videos, especially on the house building/cost, it helped me along with many other videos to get a good idea of housing prices. Have fun, keep up the good work, a lot of us may not comment but we're watching and researching! Signing out from Southern California.@@ItsMe_Philippines
12:28 wow a week in Makati it must have cost you a fortune plus a new gimbal but hey that’s your life it’s good to see that place
Thanks for sharing this vlog
I budget for small vacations like this. Really hated to buy ANOTHER gimbal though.
Makati City looks like a must see spot, very nice
Worth the trip
BGC is Taguig, Metro Manila is even better.
@@chaoticheaven17 I haven’t been to the Manila area in general yet, but BGC looks quite nice.
Not sure if you went there yet, kr anybody suggested yet, you'll like "Filling starion" on Burgos street for dinner, or a more romantic dinner, go to Firefly rooftop restaurant....😊
Thanks!
All good, not sure where you are staying, but if and when you come back.. I stayed at Gramercy residences, it has an amazing infinity edge pool on 37th floor overlooking the city, and gym on 39th floor overlooking the other side, it is phenomenal, Filling station that should say, amazing American diner, never seen anything like it 😀
Makati is the business and financial capital of the philippines you are correct. So over all where the costs about what you expected or less / more?
Right what I expected
That made me laugh, when she said about the 'itch' hahahahhaaha
😂
My gorgeous Pinay had the same problem with covering her mouth everytime she laughed or smile. A terrible habit. I broke her of that. Now all smiles.
It's not a problem to me and it's part of their culture so I don't want to change that. Everyone is different
@@ItsMe_Philippines Poverty is part of their culture here but doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. Change is for the good. Even the little things.

That's funny about the Nike T-shirt. The same thing happened to me. But I bought authentic Nike shorts add SM. Mall.
And it fell off after I washed it.
Almost 5000 pesos.

That does look like a very clean city. I too would not live there but it would be nice to visit. BGC as well.
Agreed
Hey guys. Nice place to visit, but we don't want to live there. Thanks for reminding me about that movie. I've been wanting to see that one too. Looks like a lot of action in that one.

How much was that?! It’s not cheap there!
