Wow! Really smart tactic for this mission! I'm trying to beat this mission on hard, but can't get through the final path to the landing spot... I have to try your tactic! Rushing throw to the scientists and then playing hide and seek with the enemies is a pretty nice way :-) Thanks for showing!
Very strange but if I only evacuate one scientist I get a ‘mission failed’. I even tried it with three scientists and got a mission failed….it was only when I evacuated one soldier and one scientist together that I got mission accomplished. I really don’t understand why this is the case when in this walk through you got a mission accomplished upon evacuating just one scientist by themselves…weird! My game was on hard as well.
Holy crap, thanks for clarifying that! I just evacuated one solo scientist and was so happy... only to see it fail. My heart sank. Reloaded and managed to get one scientist and one infantry and got success. This mission was ridiculous - might have been the most unfair thus far. These expansion missions are poorly designed.
It's really odd with some games (most of them) who use a maximum of 3 or 4 voice alternatives to the same command, which becomes so annoying that you disable FX altogether #RandomRantPassingThrough
i never get any reinforcements besides the first 2 grenadiers and 2 soldiers, when the 2 flamers come theyll just rape me and that flametank thats in the middle just goes randomly on the hunt for a single unit sometimes
Reinforcments in that mission are bound to certain events. The first are: loose your initial squad, find the flame tank north of you, destroy the flame tank AND kill all enemies shown right at the start (in this video they were lured up with a humvee and then killed however you were supposed to sneak around with your soldirs taking them out). Killing the enemies that are shown at the start grants you a medium tank, that one is supposed to destroy the flame tank
