It's amazing how much more productivity you can get off of our perennial native legume species and native grasses if you do good rotational grazing management. Some of the ranchers near me never have to buy hay at all and are finishing off their cattle 3x faster than the usual fescue/clover mixes.
Greg, This might not be the correct platform to inquire through but you mentioned if we wanted to participate in a bale grazing study to reach out. I fall in one of those states (NC) did some bale grazing with great success this past year and plan to do more in the future. Wasn't sure what the avenues were to get ahold of folks to participate in the study.
