I like how James is able to consistently get laughs out of “big time man” every time he says it, on absolutely any show

Glad that you pointed it out! You can't usually read their signatures in the beginning, so he probably thought that only Josh would notice. They do have a TV show together. I think it's on Dave, but I'm not sure. Edit: Ok so I should have listened to the rest of the video. The only thing that I left out was the name of the show! Lol

I'd be ok with that. The show would definitely be different, but very funny.

Actually that's not a bad idea. James is odd, quirky and unusual. Those 3 words are pretty much the definition of the Doctor.

How is it he can manage to look like he's taking the piss while actually making some really decent arguments. Like the Piers Morgan thing, he's clearly not actually being mean to Lorraine cause he's making jokes about Penguins and Superman but he also manages to make some really good points about his stance on Piers Morgan and how just because he did something right, doesn't mean he's suddenly a hero.
He’s just brilliant at the deadpan sarcasm, some people don’t get it (those people are dumb and don’t have a sense of humour!) but I thought Lorraine took it well
Yeah, I was really impressed with this. Whenever relatively trusted figures normalize some psychotic media villain because they did one good thing, you start hearing people around you making the same arguments and then suddenly it's fine for Boebert to pester Jewish tourists about doing "reconnaissance."
Genuinely in love with this guy as it turns out.

oh? I thought they struck a good balance, with James' v good point being heard but also all working to diffuse the tension (incl. James) so they could make a good, relatively light entertainment show. I mean, they had to make some jokes about it, his initial reaction was pretty funny/extreme

Looks like James is a fan of the Netflix show "The Queens Gambit". It really is a great show.

I'm American, I watch enough British content to be aware of what a Spoons is but I had no idea they were CARPETED. That is disgusting.
Most pubs I've been to in the UK are carpeted.
yes, sticky and even though the smoking ban was 15 years ago, every carpeted pub still smells like cigarettes, because god forbid anyone get any carpet cleaners in.

There was a live one, I still don’t understand how shows are managing to do that
There was not actually a live audience, and they were clearly kept at least 6 ft apart except for when they had plexiglass dividers between them during the pub quiz, and if you pay attention, you’ll notice them mention that when they switch seats, they wipe them down in between.
@@penelopew77 thanks =] but social distancing without masks is not safe at six feet, and the cdc has revised their idea that 6 feet with masks is far enough to begin. And none of them are wearing masks , and they’re indoors, what about the air circulation ?

So now Josh is using private drunk footage for laughs. Seems cheap and somewhat nasty, didn't need to be on national TV.
So much for the social distancing diring the pub quiz part. Why bother to keep people apart when your going to shove them all within inches of each other? Also they made them all go sit in each other's spots, presumably without sanitizing them in between, although this is abbreviated so maybe they did, but again why bother if they are going to cram them all together at the end? Having written all that it has no relation to the awesome quality of the show; just that they don't seem to understand the whole point of social distancing. Is the UK no longer supposed to social distance? I hope that's the case and they've all been vaccinated or somehow completely rid themselves of the virus!
