But storybook is rather for only the components API, design systems are general design rules, so a lot more than just storybook. We also use storybook for a lot at the moment, but we are starting to use the docs in static site, in our fall it's will be starlight (astro), documenting everything incl. components without storybook, and storybook is our developer playground and testing showcase for our components only ... showing changelogs, a11y checklists etc.
