This is the first video of yours that I have watched. I don't have many girlfriends and this made me giggle so much that I was wishing we lived in close proximity so that we could hang out! No such luck, but thanks for the laughs.

I’ve been using the “bathrobe belt” method for heartless curls. It works really, really well. I wrap it, then put on a satin sleep cap to help keep it in place overnight. It’s comfortable and it works.

We Are Legion No shade, but I’m betting your curls have plenty of HEART...thinking you meant HEATless curls, yes?

I use this method too. My hair is thick, so I let it completely dry with curl enhancing mouse from the salon. Then right before bed I lightly spritz with water and wrap it up and sleep with a pair of old stockings on my head to keep it in place and comfortable. When I take it down in the morning its good to go. You can even brush it IF YOU MUST.... lol Those curls aren't going anywhere!

That seems like a brilliant product to me. It elevates the old rag curl method.

I have made these myself using microfibre cloths and a good sewing machine, worked great at a fraction of the price. Works best on damp hair, left in overnight, curls last for days!

I think it worked great you should spray a little hairspray after you take the thing off your head 👍🏻curls will stay better

I like that. I used to rag roll my hair in my teens. This is very similar, but looks easier to do. You should try it overnight. Your curls won't fall out. You may actually have to wait for them to relax somewhat before you will like them. I would try this. I don't bother curling my hair any more because it doesn't hold. I bet this would.

Hi, Lou! This is too funny! I thought you may have been played but I'm surprised it actually worked! Kinda. Glad that you have enough insight to know not to open the door to strangers like this. Good for you giving it a second go with the hair over the band. You're a trooper. Or you have too much time on your hands. You keep doing you! You're a bright spark in my day!

From someone who has really curly hair. I would never brush it after using that thing for so many reasons. But I would add a little setting product of your choose then gently finger comb out until your happy with the spread say two times then hairspray the sh#t out of it and then never touch it again.

Hello. I tried the one where a bathrobe belt is used. You weave it in your hair like a french braid . Put the belt over the top of your head and start braiding 2 normal braids but with the fuzzy robe belt in it. Sleep with it in,have damp hair. Turns out nice.

When I was in high school in the mid 70’s. my friend had really long, thick straight hair to mid bum region. She used to curl her hair using rag strips. It really worked well on her hair. I wonder if this is maybe the same idea.

That was the way my aunt did it back in the 1920s as a young lady. I think they just used what they had. Cut the rags up and wet the hair, roll up, tie and leavr over nite.

I just happened to run across this video. The Octocurl looks like a good solution to my no-heat dream. I grown out my grey roots since Feb 2020 and have 14" strands that are mixed au natural and dyed. Since heat can yellow grey/silver/white hair, I've been struggling with a solution to enhance my waves, (especially on my streighter side ) while avoiding heat tools. I have fine fragile strands and give them a lot of care and love. I use a satin pillow cover and The Perfect Hair Towel. Would you recommend satin or microfiber to minimize frizz given I have fine slippery hair? Or should I contact the mfg? Thank you for demoing this novel product.

The answer: Get ISO Bouncy Creme. About a pea sized amount in your hand and rub both hands together, run through your damp hair with your fingers and then scrunch. No heat, wavy curls set in seconds. It is the best stuff ever and I've been using it for over 20 years.

I would like to see what happens if you used it on wet/ very damp hair an let it stay on overnight with some type of hair product for hold or just use a blow dryer with low heat of even better one of those caps that fills up with heat that you can put on an watched tv, do your makeup etc. It's the only way these type of things work best at least on my hair. The concept is phenomenal an gives a great curl I just don't think the way you used it is how your supposed to use it.

  • @sunniduran5144

I just sleep with my damp hair in a braid and it does wavy curls. But my hair is already curly, I do the braid to tone down the frizz. Lol

    • @i.e.presents638
      @i.e.presents638 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Miss. Molly My hair is poker straight and very long. I often do one big braid, not too tight on too of my head, it comes out as beautiful waves in the morning. I need to figure out what to do with the ends though. My hair is layered, it would be too heavy otherwise, so the ends are not always pleasingly finished.
