      @xavier92991 they assume (wrongly) that the Wolves are younger and project to improve more than Dallas. In fairness, an Ant leap COULD surpass Dallas collective improvement, but that's not the most likely scenario.
      I will disagree on one thing, while Naji is a better all around player than DJJ, DJJ is more equipped to shut down Ant than Naji. So that could be a step in the wrong direction specifically in a matching with MIN.

    I don't get how Minnesota can be higher than Dallas. In previous play offs Dallas beat Wolves pretty easily like there was no real challenge there and the best addition for Wolves off season is a rookie. Meanwhile Dallas added a lot of shooting and is basically a better team then they were 2-3 weeks ago

    Yea just stop talking basketball fellas lol. If you can’t see that this Klay move is a match made in heaven for both sides then idk? As much talk as it was about the Mavs defense in the finals it wasn’t why they lost. They held Boston to their lowest offensive rating and ppg,it was ultimately the offense that failed them not being able to crack atleast 100 pts in the first 3 games. Why? because the PJ,DJj,Green,Hardaway,Exum,Maxi’s even Kai couldn’t hit open threes!
    You now bring in the second best 3 point shooter ever who in a “WASHED” year shot 39% on 9 attempts. Naji Marshall is a better 3pt shooter than DJJ,and Grimes is better offensively than Josh Green!
    Klay isn’t asked to be the second option any longer LuKai,and then the lob threats of DLive&Gaff will be the biggest threats for defenses. Klay is going to feast and rejuvenate his career.
    Also why on earth do you put the Wolves over the team that just spanked them with an injured Luka in 5 games when Dallas got even better??

      Best ball moving team doesn’t mean he has the cleanest shots or other athletics options to playmake. Not having to run so much will help him in Dallas. He’ll also have lob threats that he can playmake for. He’ll get the cleanest most open shots playing with a playmaker like Luka, who is worlds ahead of Curry in that regards. And Mavs play at a top 7 pace in the league which is a lot faster than Warriors.

But more than the 3-4 3s that he can make for the Mavs, he provides gravity. Luka and Kyrie in the playoffs were getting doubled and then and dudes helping in the paint because they didn’t need to guard DJJ or PJ from 3pt. Let me see one defender leave Klay open. This will open the floor for Luka and Kyrie who are some of the best one on one and paint finishers in the game.

      @angelsaint-hilaire4372 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      THJ in the playoffs averaged 4pts per game and barely played. Not only was he a bad shooter, but a bad defender. Klay isn’t the guy he used to be, but he still has size and strength and can still hold his own in spots. Also, if you look at a team like Boston, THJ and DJJ were too skinny for their big wings. Having Klay, Naji and PJ will help against those bigger wings.

    • @krisstrong
      @krisstrong 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@angelsaint-hilaire4372 amount shots always matters for effectiveness. While I don’t think it’s a terrible addition Klay had offense ran for him occasionally which is why he was able to get into rhythm. I do think he creates some gravity but Dallas may force him to be more of a stand still corner shooter which he can probably excel at but doesn’t necessarily compliment his full game. Also if Klay starts it shrinks the teams length from last year. Like I said I don’t think the moves are terrible it just creates new deficiencies.

    Silly talk. Denver ahead of Dallas with 4 starters and no bench? OKC? Caruso and Hartenstein are a touch better than Naji and Klay. The problem with your argument is that OKC LOST to Dallas….with home court advantage! The biggest problem? Luka was playing on one leg in the series.
    OKC is going to fondly wish for 2024 when they have to face a healthy Luka. I love Caruso, but he said himself you can’t guard Doncic. Luka can put up 50 on Alex. You want Dort? Luka put up 3 consecutive 28pt triple doubles on him in 4, 5, & 6….ON ONE LEG.
