Your channel has become the go-to for Cyberpunk mods for me now. Not only an interesting selection but very helpful commentary. On the subject of the Advert Animations I'm not sure If you've checked out the other advert mods from the same author (All Adverts-1,2 and 3). My God the artwork if fantastic, fits right in although just be aware that some of them are VERY adult if you don't opt for the less explicit versions haha.
Glad you like the videos :). Yes I've definitely used all advert, it's one of the most complete advert replacers imo, I featured it in one of my other mod list videos. I actually had to stop using it for showcases because of the adult stuff hahaha, but I still like the mod nonetheless.
I really like your attention to detail, taking the time to explain stuff. So very often people just "spam" mods and while that works for many people I personally prefer a slowed down and more intricate approach.
Thank you for introducing my mods, I'm glad. 🥰 Your presentation style is very nice and polite, it is enjoyable to watch your video. 🥳 Please keep up the great work. 💗👏
Blood Puddles - EGGHANCED option 2 changes shape of puddles that looks way more better imo GITS 3.x have "02 (Less) Perfect Rain" file at optional files category that based on "Improved (or is it) Rain Effect" made by Sosuine and it looks pretty good
Well made, choom! Although I had most of the mods already installed it's always nice to hear a more in-depth explanation at what they actually do than "lux betta wit it!" And some mods I didn't know about and since us gfx-whores always try to make the game more beautiful and immersive your recommendations are very welcome!
I stumbled across your channel when shifting from Skyrim mods to Cyber Punk mods. I appreciate the academic, nuanced style of reviews. It's a breath of fresh air in the world of Cyber Punk TH-cam videos. Keep up the good work, choom!
Thank you for this. Have you seen that recently GITs has been set to private???....of course I really wanted to try it as my first mod. Personally I really like your lut and env showcases, they have really helped me figure out which one I really want to try, and with raster no less, giving us a defined natural look of all luts and changes. Here's my dilema, with how much has been released from the Nova author I'm really stuck between Preemv2, which has a light version I'm curious about, Pure with vibrant, Edge with vibrant. There are just so many and I'm somewhat lost. Pairing env with other luts is also bothersome as some videos don't always state which they are using. Lemme know if you hear anything about GITs, am sad it's not available.
Recently installed the GITS 3.X, but as much as I liked the gits colour palette, I ended up just keeping the relighting and the other enhancements that don’t change the colour grading to keep the vanilla look, but enhanced. My favourite look so far :D
Great mod picks. Though, I'd be curious as to your opinion on the rain mod: Manually Enhanced Rain FX. I find that it is a very nice rain effect that pairs well with NOVA LUT and GITS. The maker also has a pretty good textures mod Manually Enhanced NC PLUS HD V2.
quality vid. 👍👍 wish Gits 3.0 rain was a standalone mod and also reLight, they are fantastic mods, but im a sucker for the vanilla lighting and textures. 👍👍
someone plz tell me which mods are updated to v2.1 or 2.11 or 2.12 and which CET / RED4ext / ArchiveXL / what can i install without my game prompting me an error plz someone tell me this
That's not texture pop in, that's shadow pop in, I've had that problem for as long as I can remember as long as I enable RT shadows, with or without any mods enabled. You can see it in most of my videos where I have RT enabled(there aren't too many cos I don't usually play with RT). My best guess is it's an amd thing cos I don't see any Nvidia users with that issue. Just another one of the many reasons I don't usually play the game with RT enabled. I've just been getting a lot of comments recently urging me to do showcases with at least some RT, that's why I've had RT enabled for the last couple videos.
@@KrushSG I see. That makes sense. I'm using a 4090 so that's why I thought it was odd as I don't get that pop-in. Very much appreciate your mod suggestions. I've ended up wth 46 mods installed (not fun on patch day) and I've got 1,435 hours played.. lol Game is brilliant!
Thanks for the recommendations! A few more mods to add to my setup. Do you know if the advert mods in your video conflict with Immersive Ads included in GITS 3.X?
I had issues with lighting mods like EDGE LUT where at nighttime it would whitewash the game causing night scenes to be much brighter. It's quite obvious and off-putting with HDR enabled which I feel is better then most lighting mods made. Only a couple support HDR but still, they don't get it right. It is hard to make a lighting mod that balances both daytime and nighttime without overdoing it on one or the other.
Aye, based on what I've seen and the comments I get surrounding lighting mods and HDR, it would seem HDR is challenging for modders to tackle in general. I think it's a combination of a few factors, like the extreme inconsistency of HDR certification across monitors(mine's "rated for HDR600" but it really isn't even close to proper Vesa DisplayHDR 600). Then there is the comparatively smaller user base because of other factors like cost, and the general subjectivity of visuals on a whole. It also doesn't help that it seems most modders/authors don't have HDR displays themselves, so they might try to support it but then need to rely on user-sourced feedback to make corrections, which doesn't always give the best results. That said, even the vanilla implementation of HDR in Cyberpunk isn't great imo. I got the chance to play the game in HDR on an Acer predator once(Vesa DisplayHDR1000), unmodded(vanilla lut/env), yea... I was not impressed. Redder reds, yellower yellows, not much else.
Hey great work! Thnak you so much. I wouild like to see something for NVDIA RTX, but I guess not much there? Also, there is a question, how to hide quest action buttons? Cant find it on vortex, if you could suggest?
Hey glad you liked the video! I'm not too sure what you mean by something for Nvidia RTX, as far as I know, almost all mods are compatible with both nvidia and amd gpu's with nvidia actually having better compatibility because some features in cyberpunk actually cant run on amd gpu's. As for quest action buttons, if that's what I think it is you can give Limited HUD a try, it basically gives you full control over almost every aspect of the user interface/HUD. Here's the link to the mod page: www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2592 Limited HUD has 5 requirements so be sure to download all of them!
Have you ever experienced an issue with texture pop ins like buildings and surroundings and also roads disappearing i never noticed this stuff in till after patch 2.1 Januarys update and the game is not modded and still the same issues occur
I've had that happen before maybe 2-3mths ago but it was mod related for me, recently I haven't had that issue. How much VRAM does your GPU have? Sometimes pop in or lod issues could be VRAM related.
Hmm, i do use Ultra Plus RTPT, which improves raw RT performance but in turn increases the overall fps cost a tiny bit (when RT is enabled) because it turns on some path traced effects as well. You can try out the Fast option which apparently gives a slight boost in fps with RT turned on, i use the High option personally. Here's the link: www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10490 Otherwise, not sure what else there is, I try to target ~60 fps in dogtown, so I get about 68-73 fps in most parts of Night City.
could be a vram issue, I've heard that HD reworked has caused overly high VRAM consumption on some systems. You could try using xila's surface textures(www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10331) instead of HD reworked, then run ETO and have ETO load last for priority. Hope this helps.
You need to pick just 1, they all edit similar files so they can't be run together, they'll just overwrite one another and the one that loads last will take priority over the rest.
Honestly, most of these mods don't improve much over vanilla version at all. Goes to say CDPR has done a great job. There really is no need for any mod whatsoever.
I'm loving these videos, but Is it just me, or does running Cyberpunk with an extensive mod list introduce stuttering and performance instability? I have a pretty extensive mod list, no log errors, and I'm running a beefy machine. Yet it feels like I get more stutters the more mods I have installed.
Hmm that could be a number of things, I've encountered that on occasion too. The obvious one would be VRAM which is usually texture related but if you aren't capping your VRAM out then it could be CPU usage which might be crowd related. Are you using any crowd altering mods? Density altering mods can drive CPU usage through the roof which can cause stutter and some other mods like night city alive or realistic traffic density can increase density outside of your field of view and cause high CPU usage. Try enabling your usage metrics in game and watch your CPU usage. If it spikes and your GPU usage drops below 90% and that in turn corresponds with a stutter, then try turning your crowd density in the settings to low or medium.
@@KrushSG Thanks for the feedback. I'm not running any crowd altering mods, I have plenty of VRAM headroom, and my CPU usage is pretty stable around 20-25%.
Aye, I think among all the amazing technologies offered by Cyberpunk, rain isn't its strongest feature unfortunately. Plus RT and PT tend to seriously mess with how rain looks in this game, rain can look drastically different depending on your graphics settings, modded or unmodded.
Little disappointed at the lack of using the word boombastic/bombastick, it and timestamps were a major reason for me subscribing, the videos are fine and all but lack of boombastic timestamp mentions leave me sad.
all these mods is like putting lipstick on a pig - no matter how expensive lipstick is the pig wouldn't get any prettier. Frankly, cdpr is no more - they used sbl in cyberpunk and that should tell you everything you need to know.

Thanks for the video, I have now downloaded some of the showcased mods that I somehow missed.
thank you for going in detail for every single mod :)

Ha I have subscribed! Thank you!! I added a new main option for the higher dismemberment mod!!
Thanks for the sub and for the mods Egg! =)) Yes I saw that, it's great to be able to control the dismemberment rates from ingame.
I'm coming back to modding scene since I left Skyrim (before SE). You got amazing list, subbed!
great stuff & great voice btw... you ever consider voice acting? it's like a soothing blend of Werner Herzog & Maurice LaMarche

are the visuals mods very demanding ? I run a 6800xt
hmpf sadly the mod you recommend doesnt fix the lod problem, just look at the truck at 5:40 for example. i mean there are lot more i just picked one.
