Stag Horn ~ CCR Equestrian BSJA ~ 02/11/24

Stag was a little star at CCR Equestrian for some senior show jumping.
Had his first clear for 4th in the 85 amatuer and suddenly it felt small which is super exciting!
Then he went and got his first British Novice double clear for 2nd and just felt so cool!
Thank you so much to everyone at CCR Equestrian for always bringing the best vibes and atmosphere. My boy got off the box and was chuffed that we were back at his favourite venue!
Well done to everyone, but especially the girl at her first BS seniors show who held herself with so much class even when things didn't go perfectly. Horse first, sport second, always. Hope to see you at the next one!
The hugest thank you to the Hesteyri family, the best a girl could wish for. Lauren got up early to hay up the horses and then got Hugs ready to go on an adventure, Dad got up to get the lorry sorted and then proceeded to muck out Lion and Menin Gate because I’d only managed to do their hay and water. Em gave up her Saturday and got up before dawn to be the buffing the boy, filming and just generally being a legend. And Dan came with us so it was just a lush family morning and I felt so lucky to be met at the gate by my people who were just as happy as me with our boy. Feel like life is a perpetually uphill battle (proved by the lorry being poorly on the way home yet again) but it’s the people and animals that make the place and ours are some of the best ever.
