my favorite part of the painting has to be the flames! They look so good and satisfying to the eye. The composition and the piece in general is amazing!

Mannnn what happened with that scholarship committee sucks and I’m so sorry that happened. So inappropriate especially in a setting of higher learning. Love to see what you’re getting up to with your artistic endeavors
Have you tried juicing ginger mixed in warm water it will help with the caffeinated jittery parts.. as much as I love coffee but you have to also find ways to balance the negative parts of it and keep it under control.

Why you put the camera at the steps and then spinner around and put your hands on your face !!?? ^ ^
is it lost on you the hypocrisy of constantly talking about racism but talking in an exaggerated blaccent? or is this just one of those cases where how racism has effected you is wrong, but you fine engaging in problematic behavior if its for your entertainment, and or benefit.
i love brett, but the blaccent is definitely something i have noticed and been bothered by. I think the irony is just in the fact that blackness is not respected in many ways, and people have adopted this “blaccent” and think of it as “internet slang.”
i think that brett’s work is amazing, and the themes he tackles in his work are very relevant to him & i don’t ever want to discount that. but the blaccent is very present & not the vibe.
@@decayfae1452yeah I think it’s not intentional on his part but a larger issue with my age group thinking what they’re using is just internet slang but in actuality is butchered AAVE or “blaccent”. From what I’ve seen it’s a lack of awareness rather than intentional malice but it’s still a problem and like you mentioned how prolific the disrespecting of black voices and spaces worries me
@@jellybean8552 bullshit that's a garbage tier excuse, he is so educated on racism, sexism, gender, sexuality, and everything else he harps on .....but he is completely unaware of the problematic behavior of talking like he is a black woman from the hood? one of his newer videos i guess he saw my earlier comments about his blaccent so he makes this garbage excuse about he actually takes his verbal cues from white women, notably emma roberts whom he credits for his way of speaking which is interesting cause she has recently been outed as being cruel, and bullying to trans women of color ( she has literally admitted to this and has been apologizing for it). if you have a whole portfolio, where your just yelling people are racist against me, people are homophobic against me, but you refuse to acknowledge and rectify your own racist practice you are a complete hypocrite and only care about racism when its of inconvenience to you.
Maybe it's because your art needs a lot of work. My advice: cut out the cartoon elements, stop talking about it and practice more.
