It was only great if you're a liberty homer. Call it what it was: a complete dismemberment of the Aces. I didn't even watch the whole game. Hardly riveting television.

@anthonytaylor7928 your kidding right? I think she adds a hole new dimension to the team. She does a great job fitting in where she is needed. What I like about her is she makes others BETTER. I don't think she feels the need to dominate. When she was in Chicago she let her teammates do their thing and picked up the slack. That's the role I see her playing with the Aces. I think the team misses her now that she is out. I think you would've seen a different game if she played.

She is a starter although only being able to play Small minutes a game now look what las Vegas ended up with an aging vet that could barely stay on the floor time to move on from her quit living in the past

And her defense it's horrendous. Everyone else on the starting is a great defender but she single has handedly makes them a pretty much average defense
Naw I would say her off ball movement is what makes most of her scoring. It's her space creation and dribble penetration against heavy on ball pressure, and defense that needs to improve

@@dc-co5kv,the only constant defender on the team is Stu. The others work at it. Sabrina my not be the best but I think she works at it. I like how she does her best to get rebounds. The TEAM did a better job helping out! 👏

Worrisome for anyone who knows BB. Obviously NY has the best roster, but the coaching is still terrible and that will be the difference in the playoffs. With a 30 pt lead and Vegas obviously diminished and on an off night, she kept playing Stewie, Jonquel, Sloop and Sabrina : great way to rest your star players and to show confidence in your bench !
Swap the 2 coaches and NY would go undefeated and breathe thru the playoffs.
I don't believe she will be coaching in NY very much longer, 1 more year at the most. Hopefully the Liberty organization will make the move sooner than later.
Btw, Sloop is the real glue on this team. Should be in the conversation for MVP, together with Stewie and Sabrina.

I know playoffs tend to get more planning than the regular season but I'm shocked more teams don't try to get the Aces in foul trouble and force them to put in those bench pieces - because Vegas definitely does not want to do that.

The game everyone was waiting for. I figured the Liberty would show up much stronger; but I didn't see this coming. Wow. Gonna be an incredible finals. I know some people had though Sabrina hadn't been living up to her hype as a rookie; but damn girl. Rocket fuel.

It was close ... tough to tell for sure from that angle. It was very similar to Kelsey Plum's shot a few possessions before that (it isn't on this video). Her toe was just "tickling" the 3-point line and was called a 2. All for academics in the end as this game was just WAY too much Sabrina Ionescu!!

I had NY as my preseason champion. It had alot to do with their depth on the bench being a little bit better with Thornton, Dolson, Sabally, and Johannes over the Aces bench, but man if Stewie and Ionescu are on they easily score 60 combine by themselves

This was a must win game for NY! In their game plan they addressed two major problems, POOR defense and goings to the basket more often. Finally they utilized a collapsing defense! They also played an inside out game and didn't depend on mostly 50 footers. I hope they don't fall back on old ways and not realize that the Aces will be up for the next game. I think they need to use the bench players more often. It's going to really hurt the team later if MJ doesn't get more playing time with the ball in her hands. She's getting discouraged and it's showing in her game. The bench players are playing like they are lacking confidence. As we go on, they are really going to need them.

@xavierklaine6894 I appreciate your comments. I'm not able to pull up that time. I have noticed bad looks among teammates for a while now. I have said from the beginning that there would be trouble coming because of how certain players are treated. I have noticed that some players go away from certain players. This is why I like M.J. WHEN she gets the ball, she sees 👀 the floor better and delivers the ball, in my opinion, equally. When Han Xu was playing last year, I noticed that certain players would pretend not to see 👀 her open. Really, how can you not see a 6"10 person on the court. She would run to the top of the key to get the ball. Up until recently, did you notice where J.J. was getting the ball? Top of the key. Not enough in the post. She didn't have enough designed plays for her in the post. And again, I repeat, centers have to depend on others to get them the ball. In order to beat the Aces, NY is going to have to be stronger in the post. NY will not beat the Aces in an outside shoot out.

i did not see this coming,liberty 99,aces 61,i got blind sided.with due respect the aces was the team to beat for the championship title,but things have changed ,the liberty are the super team now they are jelling together playing better as a team and their chances of winning the trophy is emmenent,as long there is no major injuries and they are healthy,but if the aces and the liberty are healthy with no maqjor injuries and they meet in the finals liberty would win.but there are some changes the aces could make to their rooster before the playoffs they need a trade before the playoffs,a shooter who can score at will,rebound,drive to the basket at will and score.but the trade would have to be with the l.a.sparks nneka agwumike and trade stokes and colson for nneka two for one and they will have a chance to repeat as champions,also candace parker have to be back to cement their chances of winning.l ol .
