    You have real heart man. Very impressive how you kept your exposure and came back in R2 & R3. Keep your chin up, this fight should have been scored 28-28

    I like how calm you fight, it's like you're in control of it. I actually discovered you from your fight with paul miller (gypsy crusader) but im glad i did. You're awesome.

    Great Fight Paul & also love the Muay Thai Guys podcast ; I'm was wondering ;
    I would like to travel in and around Ciang mai and train Muay thai, would you recommend doeing this in early january to mid februari or is the vog already bad at this point?
    I heard alot of you're training experiences of training in Chiang Mai through the Podcast with Sean, wich gyms could you recommend around North Thailand (maby Isaan) for someone with already some experience with Dutch Kickboxing but not Muay Thai?

    I gave this a like purely because Paul's absolute SAVAGE performance deserved it but literally EVERYTHING ELSE around this fight I dislike: the crappy introductions, below par unknowledgeable commentators and the donkey show scoring system - all dismal.

      Thanks Mike, it wasn't the most organised before the event either and I didn't get to even shadowbox in the locker room, but to be fair to the promotion put on the show while everyone else cancelled and had to dance around a lot of regulations. There was no crowd, no additional corners, and very very limited staff to keep the show on. After 8 months of cancellations we took what we can get haha.

    Maybe they put a high score on damage, which I don’t hate as to many fighters coast and point fight. Great fight though showed a lot of heart and not one bit of give up on you 💪🏼

    First off great fight paul ! You're a true warrior and have all the heart and technique of a true champion! Congrats bro! Secondly wtf you won that fight 2 rds to 1 , even if it was a 10-8 on the first rd . If it went to a 4th it would of been a repeat of the 3rd maybe even a tko for you. Cant wait to see you back in there!

    • @PaulBanasiak
      @PaulBanasiak  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's what we thought as well, but it's out of our hands now. All we can do it pick up where we left off in this one.
      Our other guess is that they may score it similar to ONE, even if it's a draw, they go to criteria and number one on the list was "damage" in which the cuts and blood didn't help me haha

    That decision is BS imho but what do I know. You fought super well and I was on the edge of my seat the whole fight!

    Great fight Paul - don’t agree with the judges at all you clearly took rounds 2 & 3 (round 1 was almost certainly a 10-8 but that still puts it at a draw/overtime round etc)

    • @PaulBanasiak
      @PaulBanasiak  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Chris, that's how we saw it as well, but it is out of our control now. We'll be focused on making it undeniable in the next one 🙏🏼

    So much respect for Muay Thai fighters. But gotta say wearing face masks during pre-fight, then removing them to spit and breath all over each other doesn't meet the common sense test. But I know its not the fighters decision to do this. The world was just bat shit crazy over stupid masks at the time this was recorded.
