CAP Chairman on GNN - Retail sector perspective on Government proposal to restrict timings to 8 pm

"The recently announced decision by Federal Government is based on an unfounded claim of annual savings of Rs. 62 billion while jeopardizing upto Rs. 3600 billion in domestic trade and proportionate tax collection. On an appearance on GNN's 'Face to Face', Chairman CAP discussed the challenges faced by the organized retail sector in light of the repeated timing restrictions and how the Government can effectively ensure a balance between energy efficiency and much-needed economic activity.
