- Hello future travelers and welcome to this new trip report from Dubai to Manchester on the luxurious Airbus A380 economy upper deck with Emirates Airlines.
The economy upper deck has 120 seats.
Seat configuration 2-4-2
additional storage boxes next to each window seat, legroom is just amazing and it is really worth to book one of this seats in the upper deck.
The Emirates’ two class configured A380 features 58 flatbed seats in Business Class and 557 spacious seats in Economy Class, as well as Emirates’ popular Onboard Lounge.

👋 hey , emirates don’t have that configuration to DUS for now they have 2 flights a day 1 777 and the other one A380 but 3 class 😀

Nice video. Me and the wife fly Emirates A380 upper deck economy on January 7th 2023 LGW-DXB on EK012. We paid the extra for upper deck. We have seats 32D and 32E. With a 12 hour layover in Dubai before our onward flight to Manila. I showed her this video and she's even more excited now 🤣

@@izzieeats8108 Was really good. Nice and spacious and seems more private. Upper deck economy has 120 seats total and is divided in to two sections. We were in the front section. There was only about 25 passengers on the upper deck front section. The other section was empty. I started making a video but a passenger complained about me using a goPro and was asked to stop filming. Have a good trip.

nope we upgraded coming from Dubai to Manchester had a baby boy crying all they way home could still hear him and I had my head set on. This is were Emirates should have seating areas with no kids adults only

My son flew on the emirates boeing 777 and at 8:05 that was us and when we landed he was sooo happy 😊

We came back from Dubai on the 777 into LGW last week after Emirates changed from the A380 which we had booked , there is no comparison the 777 is cramped and the service was poor , I will only fly the A380 in future it is just an amazing experience .

Sad to see an A380 without this iconic First Class in the upper front area.
Came back on this service yesterday DXB to MAN. Excellent service from Emirates as always.

so many different configurations of the 380......the economy twins upper deck are the best seats for couples ....but very few 380s have upper deck economy....they should have these in long distance flights like Dubai to L.A or Australia...now they offer premium economy but it will take 3-5 years to upgrade....so the 777s with the twin seats at the back are a good choice for now ...lets see next year on my way back to Melbourne .............
That would be amazing if they have the upper deck on long flights but maybe. They prefer first class on those long flights , premium economy is coming soon from Dubai-Sydney- dubai 😀😀

The main reasons i dont like widebody aircrafts interior:
1. Im claustrophobic so the middle row ans the less space makes me feel uncomfortable.
2. Widebody aircrafts have alot of people.
3. I Never git to fly on an widebody 😂

I dont understand this, why doesnt Dubai have separate loading tunnels for the upper deck? I thought they would have this as Emirates has the largest A380 fleet in the world.
Hey👋, they do have upper bridges for the A380 but sometimes is not available for some flights ✈️

I recently flew from JFK to Dubai to Maldives on EMIRATES A380 Business Class. It was a Magnificent Experience along with the JFK lounge and the DXB lounge.
Emirates economy is probably the best economy product there is.
In fact, they should name it something more extravagant than “economy “.
The experience exceeds many airline’s FIRST CLASS services.
That’s right ! I always thought the same as you mention , it should be called superior economy , they have an excellent service , I am glad you like their business class product 😀, thanks for watching

Flew on packed A380 and 777 from Glasgow to Perth and back last week. The service has changed a lot since I last flew with them. The quality of the food from Perth was not good. No individual bottles of wine now and no paper menu. Service not as good as it used to be.

Well, everyone raves about Emirates and the A380 but I'm going to break ranks. I flew that route in November whilst heading to Perth.......I have to say I think Emirates have really gone down. I always thought they were a cut above. Our A380 was tired......the staff were really unengaging and Dubai airport was chaos. Maybe I was unlucky but I much preferred Qatar via Doha.

A m come from Belgium to dubai n dubai to Bangladesh its so good service. but I don't feel good there when I see dubai to Bangladesh coming thet time there service ppl toking hindi n working Indian ppl. they ar toking n service I Don't feel comfortable 😕 so next time I will be changed my air ticket thanks।

@@airtravelaviation491 You are right! I agree with your thoughts! As far as the plane spotting is concerned, I LOVE to watch and spot Boeing 777 aircrafts; but when it comes to flying, I like to fly in A380!
Which airline on earth do you like the best?
I don't know mine because I just tried the following:
United (home is the United States)
Frontier (only in the US)
Air India
IndiGo (only in India)
GoAir (only in India)
Emirates (home is Dubai)
Lufthansa (home is Germany, but it looks to me like it doesn't relate at all, because it just says "Lufthansa", and not like Qantas, where it says "Spirit of Australia" to make me think those Qantas Airlines come from Australia; it makes me think that Lufthansa airlines come from Lithuania, and not Germany, they MUST say "Spirit of Germany" or something.)
Southwest (haven't really tried it, but will try it in a few weeks, so that is why I included it.)
So I have heard of, but haven't actually tried the following:
Etihad Airways (home is Abu Dhabi, and how to know that is, it sometimes says, "From Abu Dhabi to the world", so that is how I know that.)

Aer Lingus (another one in Ireland, so weird) (that means there are three airlines that go to Ireland, Ryanair, Ireland air AND Aer Lingus)

Alaska Airlines (also stays in the US)
Air Canada (Alaska Airlines will have to pass this country in order to get to Alaska, or even to get back to the US from Alaska)

@@aakashkarajgikar9384 I have tried many airlines and my favorites are : Qatar airways , Emirates , Thai airways , Singapore airlines , Etihad 😀😀 usually Asian airlines and from the Middle East are really good , the one that I haven’t tried is MEA the airline from Lebanon 🇱🇧I hope I can try and make a review 😀.
That’s amazing that you know many airlines and have tried a lot of them as well , I have flown many in the USA but not spirit .
Lebanon doesn’t really seem to be the best… as far as the Beirut, which is the capital city of that country is concerned… I wouldn’t necessarily call that as good if a place because of all the toppers breaking and a recent war happening.

This aircrafts does not have first class , only economy and business , the business class is located behind the economy upper deck and the bar is located in business class ✈️✈️

I flew from MAN to DXB 2 days ago in the same cabin . It’s well worth spending the small extra in fare to secure a upper deck seat . It’s worth noting that Emirates fly only a small number of this configuration A380 on selected routes , so if like me your home is Sydney , you have to fly in the main deck cabin for the remainder of the flight. Incidentally, when taxying at MAN on our nighttime departure , I saw rabbits crossing the taxiway through the beam of the taxi lights of the A380 through the onboard cameras . Good informative and entertaining video .

can I ask what flight you went on what time u arrived . I am going on the night flight soon Ek 20 just wanting to know how early to arrive and such?
@@psaddict4029 . We took the EK 20 . It was due to dep at 21:15 hrs , but was delayed till 23:30 hrs . The check in and security lines were no issue and we went through quickly . I would aim to check in no later than 19:15hrs to be comfortable with the departure time .

6 weeks tonight I'll be on my way but all the way from sydney. Done EK19 before quite alot ! Emirates is the only airline I'll go ultra long haul to be honest. My flight into manchester this time i think is E17 that arrives about 11.30am. Sadly no upper deck offered unless I get lucky with a business class upgrade...here's hoping !
Hey 👋 that’s nice that your flying to Sydney with emirates , you will enjoy the flight a lot , sometimes they fly the upper deck economy from Manchester but depends on the day and if they have that aircraft available, enjoy your flight ✈️
How to select seat uper desk by online?
Hey 👋 it is very easy when you book you ticket go to select seat number and you will find the option for upper there all depends if economy upper deck is flying on that route and if it is not showing it means they don’t have it , usually A380 when it does not have first class and only business class means you Will have economy upper deck , hope it helps 😀
Thanks for this video. Managed to book the exact same seat for my outbound & return flights to Dubai this year. Very much looking forward to flying on the Upper Deck! Hoping I won’t miss the extra legroom seat too much, but the quieter cabin looks much preferable!

I didn’t know the upper class was Economy too. I thought it was all First and Business class. Guess I learned something new.
