One of my most favourite movies, ever since I was 6, I always wanted a bird like Paulie and name him Paulie. I’m 23 now, I haven’t achieved this yet but hopefully soon
Oh please do it I just rescued a lorikeet I’m trying to train it to talk like kiwi the blue chicken So intelligent & adorable - hours and.hours of training and reading up on it all
This movie is amazing. If you grew up in the 90s you for sure probably seen this washed it the other day and it made me cry . Especially since I have a green cheek conure that looks similar to this conure hit a spot
Such a beautiful, touching, funny, and wholesome film that deserved better than it got-the poor performance in the box office just isn’t encouraging for folks who want to make beautiful, touching, family friendly films like this.
This is Dreamworks’ Lilo and Stitch due to the fact that there is a dark story under it’s lighthearted coating and it also has a reckless animal as the lead
You won't regret it, it's an amazing journey with a lot of family friendly humor. My dad and i watched this one together and there were a whole bunch of moments that were so heart warming that we cried.
I’m wondering if it will ever be rebooted but Dreamworks will have to dance around Rio which happens to have a similar plot and is now owned by the mighty Mouse House
Saw the movie when I was a kid but I didn't understand it because it was in Spanish. Which I have disabilities one thing I hate about this movie is getting this poor are getting separated from his owner which is not right when will they learn to accept. She's probably autistic
She had a stutter, mainly, and was kept from school because of it and had no other friends, so that was the main issue, but she might have been on spectrum too. It’s hard to tell when she didn’t even have much social interaction with other kids to judge by in the early part. And yeah, I hate when parents blame a child’s coping mechanism or special interest that helps them engage with the world, like Paulie here, as “delaying” their kids and treat it as the problem, instead of the gift and window to the world it is to help them.
After Marie’s Father get rid of Paulie because he’s talking they he and his family move to Los Angeles they wanna to protect her from the Talking Parrot

Gosh I love the 90's. What they didn't have in CGI they made up for in amazing storytelling.
One of my favorite childhood movies, came out when I was 6 or 7. Wish I could find it on streaming.

This looks pretty terrible.
It’s really not as bad as you think. Pretty dark in spots, one of Dreamworks earlier movies, marketed as a comedy but more as a dramedy
You could not be more wrong.
You should try the movie,is a beautiful and underrated masterpiece
No wonder bird don't talk
