Im also from new york and I’ve been trying to find a office that delivers this kind of technology and i have found an office that has the computer guided implants but they don’t create the crown in office instead they said that they supple a temporary till the implant has healed.. what are you thoughts? Does or should the implant need to heal before the permanent crown is placed ?

It took 6 months healing time for each of my implants, then go to dentist to have the crown made, same as my nephew in Chicago......long process. No dentist or oral surgeon here in IN has this top of the line equipment; I also find it odd that this gal couldn't find a qualified oral surgeon in NYC that could do this.....Wow, I am floored.

I live down the road and im about to lose my front tooth....its still in there with a root with no infection. I however do not want to be under anasthetics or use pain killers. I think its just....damaged and pressured teeth. Nothings broken....i have a slight chip on a back one. More than likely its gonna be gum manipulation and some sort of dental brace. However surgery on gum....grafting of some sort to place gum tissue on the tooth. Which is the problem. Gumline receded back off the top front teeth. And are lose... So have this receded gumline....and a floppy front top tooth. Do you do this? I live in Columbia, Mo. My hair receded at the sametime my gumline receded...which is a nutrient deficiency. I have that somewhat under control now. And my gums and hair are growing back. But that one tooth gumline area just wont heal..

I have CRAZY erosion. My front teeth chipped a few times and now are not extending over the lower jaw. I lost a molar, and chipped another badly it is now very low but no pain. Also third tooth from the front on the right split below the gum. Now I cope with it all. As long as I suck i can chew on the other side with not too many problems. Are these Titanium implants? And if she could not afford the implant at that time, what type of bone graft do you use on patient?...The patient's own bone harvested? The bovine bone (cow)? Or the bone from a cadaver (because I was told this is also done). Do you ask the patient which they prefer or do you choose yourself? I was told where I am that a bone graft would have to be done and your own bone grows into it so that when you are ready for implant there will be a bone to accept when having to go back in and drill. The cost really depends on a number of factors. I believe this treatment cost somewhere in the range of 7k-10k. This particular implant was an implant and 3 veneers. ;)

I would also highly recommend that you choose a general dentist with lots of restorative cosmetic experience of implants that also places implants for teeth 8 & 9. That can be the most esthetically challenging. I have performed this for many patients and have great before and after examples. Experience trumps letters. I would make certain to choose an office that clearly demonstrates that they do many implants. 😁
