People be acting like they get superior deals for the same quality and craftsmanship, but if you've ever had the chance to shop around for at least a few different pieces then you know what the prices should relatively be in your area, for what you were searching for at that particular time.... and the "sticker shock" these people receive, as well as the claims made, let you immediately know how hard they telling on themselves and their ignorance.
People be acting like a piece in the diamond district in NYC should cost the same as some random place in western Iowa. Prices may be similar, but in most cases the markup for labor & overhead needed to accurately run a successful business is going to be vastly different depending on location, craftsman, vendors etc. This is assuming craftsmanship and quality/clarity is exactly the same as well among locations. It might be commonplace for labor prices to be cheaper in one spot vs another, the amount of time it takes to make a custom piece also comes into play. You pay for all that. What Trax charges isn't absurd considering where he's at, and who's doing the work, paired with the guarantees you get when shopping there. Nobody can say he don't happily give options. You get what you pay for when it comes to jewelry, even if it's just simple gold or silver chains and bracelets
