As someone who was raised Mormon and whose entire family and extended family are Mormon up through my great grandparents, I can’t tell you anything about these women’s church status because just being Mormon or knowing a Mormon doesn’t give me access to their brains and hearts. As someone who is in Mayci’s ward, however, I can tell you that she is Mormon. And as someone whose step-mom is best friends with Jessi’s mom, I can tell you that she grew up Mormon but isn’t actively practicing.
