    I’m glad you shared your experience there! The rude workers there were following their managers lead. Horrible!!
    You should insist on getting your money back. At least part of it. I hope you do that. It’s sure a different world now.
    Watching you all is so uplifting for me, and wonderful to know that there are still such good families out there. You are the best!!

    I’m gutted for you all, it is so frustrating when you save up to make memories and companies take your money but don’t deliver 😡😡😡.

    Oh Zoe you sound so angry and frustrated and rightly so. As a parent you just want your children to be happy and make lovely memories, this sounds quite the opposite and definitely somewhere I won't be visiting. Thank you for your honesty it saves other people's money and precious family days from being ruined too x

    What a nightmare for you all I feel so sorry for you , I would definitely put an official complaint in and demand your money back, you paid a lot of money for your day out! And I hope a lot of people are reading your Vlog to see how bad this place is and will never want to visit it. Hope you all enjoy your weekend xx

    Here in Australia they charge 14 year Olds at adult price, it's downright robbery, they can't escort your little ones in a ride because they aren't over 18, yet they gladly charge your older ones adult admission, frustrating to say the least 🌹❤️

    Wow what a day for you all sounds horrendous well done Zoe I can see how passionate you are about it and totally agree and there is definitely no need for rudeness I won't be going there hopefully you get Todo some other fun things onwards and upwards we need people to stand up in this country and point out all the stupidity of the silly rules like you said they are quick to take your money I felt you there Zoe it just boils your blood take care and hope to see you soon 💖💖😘

    You have every right to be upset. As parents we can take the awful hits but when those se hits get our kids then the gloves come off. The rudeness and insensitivity of those workers is awful and I'm so sorry it was such a sad day for everyone. They should reimburse you since you couldn't go on anything anyway and they need to also be more transparent on their website and before you enter about who can go on what rides. I'm so very sorry.     hi im so sorry you had such a bad time , but im so glad you were honest about the place as others like yourself would be thinking of going there and would be so dispointed. yes i think we all expect good customer service anywhere we go , which is good for them too as by word and mouth it either makes or breaks a place ... if they carry on with rudness , and stupid rules , and all that smoking which is bad for children and yourself because of secondery smokeing and it should be in a place away from everyone . .. i was the Sales Assistant ot the year in 2005 for the whole country because of my good customer service , i did anything to help my customers and treated them all the same , it was the customers that made the people i worked for put me in for it , although they would have done anyway , they were so proud of me because of my attitude brought hundreds of people into the place and i was so so proud , even now my son goes some where and they say your marilyns son , she is a very nice lady always so kind and thats all ages say that .. what is the matter with these people , why do they employ such bad people , but i know you find this everywhere now its such ashame when children have to hear it too ... i would demand a total refund as the rules were not explained before you paid .. and continue to knock them and state if you do not get a refund you will tell everone on media about them tv etc , and nobody will go there , i have used this when i experianced bad service or bad goods it works because they know you can and will , and i never raised my voice as i was right and they knew it , But dont forget to praise the good ones that you find , we often dont stop and tell the managers of a good experiance and take the time to tell them as i do , it makes their day and gives them a few browny points which they deserve , i realy like watching your family and enjoy them being happy and having a lovely time , i felt so sad that things did not go well , take care all of you there will be lots of lovely days to come im sure xxx

    I live in Aberdeen and when you said you were going to Codonas in en earlier Vlog i was like nooooo. The workers are mostly students and the pay is awful so they just don’t care. It’s been the same the last few years. I’ve known a few folk that have worked there and left due to the poor conditions and all the stupid rules they had to follow.
    I’ll so sorry you had a bad day out. I would put in a complaint and ask for your money back in full.
    The experience sounds horrendous.

    I feel really sorry for you all that your day was horrible.and hearing the children were upset as well it just makes me think that place was a joke and to take your money and not say anything about the age that is very poor.i don't blame you for writing a letter and complaining.and for the staff with no manners that is appalling.     I understand about smoking now in the US you can't smoke anywhere inside, my sister smokes inside her house I went to visit her for one week her house stunk so bad I never went back. Sorry that trip sounds like a nightmare. How disappointing for your family. I loved the place you went with all the animals it was so beautiful.

    The fact they have taken your money and let you pay full price BUT don't tell you the kids can't go on certain rides. When you send your letter of complaint tell them you are a youtube family and you have put a video out about your experience at there theme park. Good luck with your complaint and hopefully you get the reply you would like to receive (but don't hold your breath) sending hugs to the whole family. Yes and manners and politeness cos nothing, that's how I brought my kids up too. X

My daughter’s husband’s family has been travelling with shows all over Australia for ever. I have never come across this, thank God

    Completely understand you, everything you said about days out is right. With a large family ( we have 9 ) people just don't get it.
    I've always complained about thoughts for families with pushchairs,, always step up in place for wheelchairs but never pushchairs with have as much rights.

    Sorry that you all had a rubbish experience, Next year maybe try coming to Peter Fair in Buckie which is normally the last fortnight in July. There’s also a small scale fun fair that comes to Elgin.

    I love the way that you have spoken off your frustrating day out and the reason behind what you’re complaints is because you feel the days enjoyment for what should be for children off all ages was totally ruined and no body wants to see there children crying and up set on what should off been a fun day out and for smokers to be able to smoke anywhere and not in designated area’s is dreadful before taking bookings why not put an Alert sign in Red off any conditions that applies make things Visible not in some small print Keep supporting each other so much love and care in your gorgeous family ❤️💙

    Hey guys, I went to codona’s today and the staff weren’t rude to me and my mates hopefully it is better for you if you go back again. Now there is a designated place to go and smoke but it is right at the door to enter from the amusement park outside in the back. Now it is better to go. Hope anyone that goes enjoys 🙂

    Hi guys. Sorry you had such a horrible experience on your day out.
    There is no excuse for rudeness from staff anywhere. I work in customer service and if I spoke to a customer like that I could get a warning or sacked. So unacceptable really
    I hope you do write or email the company and complain I hope you get some kind of compensation especially as it spoiled all the childrens days as well as yours.
    Also that is a Lot of money you paid for the day and I wouldn’t be happy either. Hope you get a response from them.

    Oh No, I am sorry the Day was an absolute Disaster due to Badly Trained/Untrained , Rude, and Uncaring Staff , how awful!
    Prayers Sent for the Children to Forget what happened Quickly and Enjoy the Rest of the Holiday.
    Like many in the Comments, I suggest you push for a Complete Refund given the *Shockingly Overpriced* Tickets and use the money to take the Children somewhere Nicer instead. Sadly, I cannot give suggestions as I do not know anything about Scotland.
    As I personally *hate* Rides, theme Parks have no interest for Me, sometimes I think that might be for the better.
    I do not even want to think how abhorrently My Dad would have reacted in this Situation, I am truly glad You kept Your Tempers so well. You did Superbly given the Situation.
    I am afraid that if a lot of People are Smoking, I have to Leave. I must say that I personally feel *all* Public areas should be "No Smoking" by Law . I do hope that Baby Flo is Ok.
    Being on the Autism Spectrum Myself, lets just say I understand with one of Your Little Ones, Prayers sent for Him..
    The Staff were Rude to the Children? that is absolutely, totally, utterly , Disgusting, I an sorry to say that I feel that You should have called the Police over that! (I am having to Bite My tongue here as My Blood is Boiling!)
    You did the Right thing by Complaining, do not be worried, You did the Correct thing.
    Completely Untrained :( Just Completely Untrained.
    I am Horrified the Manager was even worse than the Staff..
    Going on Your Symptoms, it sounds like PTSD to Me :( Prayers sent for You to Cope.
    Ahh, the Country, there are many times I just want to walk into a big Forest, and just Vanish...
    I am truly Devastated that there has been Tears :(
    I am glad You managed to save the Day for the Children with that last Hour.
    There is a word for what that Park has done. That word is "Scam" . Utterly Awful.
    I was wondering why there was not a Vlog, I am truly Devastated to hear what happened.
    Oh No, I am truly Sorry Agnes got so Upset. That is just Awful.
    Again, with what happened to Agnes, I would have called the Police :( and this is from someone who is *Terrified* of the Police!
    I am glad Landmark had absolutely Lovely Staff at least :) more Places need more Staff like that, God Bless that Lad who bent over backwards to give the Children a Lovely Day.
    I do not blame You, or anyone, putting such a Horrible place on "Blacklist" .

    It’s absolutely rubbish, it was bad when I went 20 years ago and I never went back. I took my son and just myself for a special day just being us and not his 2 sisters and he hated it.

    We are a family of four, our youngest child is autistic and hates certain places due to the noise! We now live In Brecon in Wales so we are DEFINITELY country like you. These places are the same all over the country, young staff with no idea about customer care, the company don’t pay them much so they certainly need lots of training!
    You are doing the right thing, these places charge stupid money, please write to the head office and list everything that was wrong, you deserve a refund, it is so much money, I am sorry you experienced this, what a nightmare!❤️❤️❤️

    I am lost for words. If you take your kids to a trampoline park, you sign an agreement to say you as a parent are responsible for your children. This Park should have been the same. You know your kids better than anyone, you know if it is safe for a younger sibling to go on with an older one. That place is an absolute disgrace, should be closed down. Thank goodness that you are amazing parents and salvaged some of the day. Xx

    parks in this country have to disclose height requirements, and age requirements on the website before you go to get the ticket payment part of the website!

    Codonas corporate office needs to make this right for your family. They also need to give their employees education on customer service and each employee should be familiar with the park to direct patrons to restrooms etc.
    It really sounds like a scam by putting important information in the “fine print” that honestly no one reads. However, age and height limits need to be added to each ticket package information so you know what you are getting.
    Please make notes so you don’t forget anything to report to corporate.

    Sounds like the manager needs to go on a managerial course on how to deal with the public . As we say in Ireland when we get bad service ( what else do you expect from a pig but only a grunt.) it doesn’t sound family fun to me ,stick to your guns complain !!!! Yes there is trems and condition but we’re they explained to you when they handed over the wrist bands.I think not all they were interested in was taken your money. I think I would go on to your local radio station and tell your experience. Love your little family vlogs . Xx

This outfit deserve your honest appraisal and you both are so tolerant and fair it must have been hellish..certainly not geared up for FAMILIES.Your kids display time after time how caring they are of each other which comes from you both.     What an awful experience for you and your family. I feel so very very sorry for you. I work in hospitality and would never dream of being rude to my customers. Wish I could make it better for you. £270 is an extremely amount to have to pay to take your 👪 out for the day.

    I used to work at the bowling bit in Codona's about 20 years ago, long before it is the mess it is now. It was a case of you turned up, and you paid to go on a ride if you were old/tall enough. There were bands for going on rides continuously, but you bought them when you got there and you were told which were ok etc. In the summer season, a lot of the workers were students who didn't care and not a lot of training if any, A case of this is this, do that, don't do that and then left to it. I was taken on and was supposed to be ON MY OWN with no training on how to use the computer to book in people for the bowling, the bowling manager left for a 2 week holiday and the girl that stayed (a double shift) blamed ME for the mess. The owners and managers were horrible, treated the staff that weren't in the "clique" like s@@t, and to be honest, there was absolutely no employee back up if things went wrong. The security were a bunch of bullies, sexism, racism from the managers was rife. If your face didn't fit, then tough., I hated working there and eventually left due to nasty, hateful and sexist treatment by one manager in particular, so I can tell that nothing has changed. I am sorry that your day was spoiled and hope that you choose something better for your next day out, like dragon taming or snake charming lol😂😂 I have just discovered your channel and have found it to be fun, sometimes funny with the kids chattering and adding bits, informative and realistic. Extremely enjoyable. I too live in Lossie and love the place, keep up the good work, just don't go back to Codona's 💜💜

    Yep you need to take it further, We teach our Children to be polite and respectful,clearly you didn't see much of that on your day trip. What a shame that stupid 'Jobs worth' rules totally ruined your Codonas visit.     They changed you adult prices for a child under 18! Omg this is just wrong I would send them a complaint and try and retrieve some of your money it’s worth a try zoe and Ben I’m so sorry you had a bad experience xx

    You had such a lovely time at codonas if you are old enough to pay for adult price for a ticket then surely you are an adult when it comes to Going On the Ride accompanying children etc

    How disappointing when you were hoping for a great day out for the kids. Your children are so well-behaved and polite, and for them to witness such poor customer service towards their family is upsetting. As you both say, Zoe and Ben, you always try to put a positive spin on experiences, but in this case a written complaint is warranted. Keep on being the lovely parents you are, and hope the kids have many happy times over the holidays!

    Sorry you all had a terrible day at the amusement park. Here in the state I live and most of the states here in the USA they have rides for the younger children if they’re too short for the bigger rides. The rides for the younger children are almost the same as the bigger ones but for small children. It sounds like their customer service is trash. It sounds like they haven’t learned customer service. You also can take strollers and there is a large amount of parking that you pay for at the park. I hope your next outing is better. I enjoy your vlogs. 🥰😘😍

    Well right or wrong if there classing tkets as an adult then that would be an adult ? There usually is a height restriction for small children . Fact is these parks employ the young and they just are not bothered about customer service

    Remember that YOU did not let the children down at Codona’s. Stop taking on that negativity as it’s clear that the venue was C***! Bad choice with hindsight but have a good moan and then laugh it off as a “never mention that word again” type of memory. Parents try so hard but it’s not always within their power to ensure a great experience Xxxx

    I'd be so upset the same as you,the place sounds like an absolute joke of a place,I've been places in the past where only some of the kids can go on things and the little ones being upset but for a 15/16/17 year old not being able to go on with younger is stupid,it's so horrible seeing kids upset when you've planned and saved for the day out,and as for the smoking my absolute hate in places yes it's up to each other but even if I smoked which I never have I'd never do by other people let alone children,hope you've managed to keep people away from experiening the same you've gone through x

    What if you were a young parent or carer ,
    under 18??
    (From the age of 14, I often took my much younger siblings out for the day)
    They flaunted every rule possible, from civility to disability!
    I hope you can take it further without too much hassle
    Hope you realise there are more people for you than against you!

    Zoe Ben oh what a shame that company only seems to want the money if I was you I'd write to the press or TV company on how you were all ripped off on the entrance fee I don't blame you not going there again but please write to the press and tell them how you were treated so rudly love fran xxxx

    I had an awful experience there a few weeks ago with my family. I tried to go into smugglers cove with my daughter in her mobility buggy and I was refused. My daughter who is Autistic was getting really upset so they let her in but then I was locked out the gate with the buggy. I asked for the manager the woman was so rude! She said if your daughter is able to play in the play area she's not disabled enough to need the buggy in the cafe. I was in shock. I asked if they took Wheelchairs they said for people with disabilities and I said that's a mobility aid, I can go get our blue badge, show you our OT assessment for the mobility aid or her risk assessment and the woman dismissed me and said no. Awful practice it's disgusting. I was offered a half refund after complaining. It didn't ruin half the day it ruined the whole experience! It's a struggle without having ableness challenged! Xx

    I am registered with the state and federal gov't, they know I'm disabled. physically and I have a form of high functioning autism called Asperger's syndrome. I walk with a walker. I have a personal care aid coming in three days a week, and I go to kidney dialysis three days a week for 4 1/2 hours.

    Years ago when my twins were 5 we went to Butlins and the girls were so excited, we waited to get on the ride one daughter got on then the man running the ride stopped my other daughter from getting on . She’s too tall for this ride he said, I said what ? they are twins ! Granted she was slightly taller but come on .No sorry not allowed.Talk about a jobs worthy I was fuming, so I know where you are coming from.
