Ivana's acting style (and I use that term very loosely) is quite odd. It's like she's just there and reciting her lines without actually _adding_ anything to them - like she is detached from everything she says. And although this is probably due to inexperience with acting, it does add a certain "strangeness" to her character, like she is never quite sincere or genuine (which actually fits the character). And her acting never actually slips into unintentional comedy the way some bad acting does when combined with overly dramatic line readings - if anything, Ivana slips into the Uncanny Valley.
Even with the decline in quality we've talked about, B&B still manages to move three separate storylines forward within the same episode, quite effortlessly. That's far beyond what the show is capable of doing nowadays.

I don't know whether to watch the show again from the first episode or go directly to season 10 ... the problem is that after season 10 it goes directly to season 19 😡😡😡
I'm in the same situation! I can't get used to this slow pace they've set especially when most days show filler episodes. There are a few videos on TH-cam can watch like 6 hours of 1995 but they've taken down most channels who were posting seasons they haven't shown. Season 10 isn't complete, I can't get into 18.. so we might as well start over!

So, what exactly is the relationship status between Anthony/Macy and Thorne/Ivana? We barely ever see them interact as couples, so it appears there is not all that much going on besides friendship and/or casual dating. I wish the show would throw in the occasional scene to clarify this, but of course there's no room for it because we need to see _every_ detail of Brooke and Ridge celebrating their honeymoon and Taylor contemplating whether or not to eat the hummus. 🙄
This is all Brad Bell's work to showcase every bit of Ridge and Brooke's honeymoon. Hell, we barely saw anything of Caroline and Taylor's, but for some reason we 'must' see this. Anyway, I wish they delved more into Thorne/Ivana considering it seems random. Also, it's funny to see how Eric drags Dillion(Dylan?) through the mud for dating a model/his niece but Thorne is dating the same model and receives no repercussions.

It is hard to drum up any sympathy for Taylor after the way she has treated Brooke. Taylor has forgotten that she was the interloper in Brooke and Ridge’s relationship. The minute she got wind of Ridge’s concerns for his father she seized the opportunity to bulldoze her way in, practicing her own form of passive aggressive teasing and flirting. Showing up at the guest house on the pretext of “helping” Ridge through his grief, carefully and skillfully planting seeds, eventually leading Ridge to believe she wanted more. Additionally, she had no qualms about using Storm, who she had absolutely no intention of marrying, but still accepted his engagement ring as a way to reinforce her position with Ridge. Just like Caroline before her using Thorne as a means of revenge, Taylor used Storm to inflame Ridge because she knew how Ridge felt about him. Then after Ridge followed her to St. Thomas and proposed, she had to ask him if she was the only woman in his life, if she would be the only woman in his life; that pretty much says everything. Taylor knew Ridge had deep feelings for Brooke, but she accepted anyway, and then made Brooke’s life a living hell with her searing insecurities and jealousy. She should have headed Brooke and James words about what was really happening in St. Thomas, but she chose to ignore it. A perfect example of you reap what you sow.
I think she reaped great, with 2 legal marriages that lasted till death did them apart and giving Ridge his first child and only legitimate children. Definitely the lead woman in Ridge's life when she was on the show till 2002. Brooke was the "other" woman till Taylor's second presumed death. My only regret is how Brad destroyed her character when she returned in 2005.
If Sheila said, "I'm pregnant with your next wife", Eric would be totally OK with everything.

It is hard to drum up any sympathy for Taylor after the way she has treated Brooke. Taylor has forgotten that she was the interloper in Brooke and Ridge’s relationship. The minute she got wind of Ridge’s concerns for his father she seized the opportunity to bulldoze her way in, practicing her own form of passive aggressive teasing and flirting. Showing up at the guest house on the pretext of “helping” Ridge through his grief, carefully and skillfully planting seeds, eventually leading Ridge to believe she wanted more. Additionally, she had no qualms about using Storm, who she had absolutely no intention of marrying, but still accepted his engagement ring as a way to reinforce her position with Ridge. Just like Caroline before her using Thorne as a means of revenge, Taylor used Storm to inflame Ridge because she knew how Ridge felt about him. Then after Ridge followed her to St. Thomas and proposed, she had to ask him if she was the only woman in his life, if she would be the only woman in his life; that pretty much says everything. Taylor knew Ridge had deep feelings for Brooke, but she accepted anyway, and then made Brooke’s life a living hell with her searing insecurities and jealousy. She should have headed Brooke and James words about what was really happening in St. Thomas, but she chose to ignore it. A perfect example of you reap what you sow.
Brooke marrying Ridge's father and having Eric's baby probably had something to do with ruining Brooke & Ridge's relationship as well. 😒

I think she reaped great, with 2 legal marriages that lasted till death did them apart and giving Ridge his first child and only legitimate children. Definitely the lead woman in Ridge's life when she was on the show till 2002. Brooke was the "other" woman till Taylor's second presumed death.
My only regret is how Brad destroyed her character when she returned in 2005.
