    Quick question. How much clay do you use like half a block or whole block. Can't wait to make this cane and a variation with translucent with yellow and green veins and wrap to make my minature sculptures easier and faster.

      I used about 3\4 of a block of translucent and 1\4 for the white and 1\4 for the black.

    Love this Samantha! I have a question. It looks like after you did the first side with the veins you cut thru the second one including the center vein. When you put them all together it looks like the center was not cut. Did you change your mind about cutting thru that center vein? Is it better to do the center vein after the side veins to keep that in one piece? Just wondering.

      I ended up changing my mind and thought I'd turned on the camera, but found out I hadn't and by then I'd made the change. Sorry about that. Put the center vein in last.

    Lord, I;m thankful I didnt use the full amount again. I'm not perfect and often times, cannot see how she is situating the pieces. What a mess I've come up with.
