Another great vid on an amazing plane! One of my all time favorites. It would be interesting to see the reaction of your client once they see your work completed. I know my jaw would be on the floor if this was my Mooney! Keep up the great vids and work! 😎
So typically clients drop by from time to time during the project so there is rarely a case where someone walks in and all of a sudden sees the whole done up at once.
Great question. Rarely. Clay is very effective at removing contamination that sits on top of the surface such as brake dust, tar, sap, iron filings, etc. Cars much more frequently suffer from these issues than aircraft. Claying does not resolve the types of defects that we go after, as our problems are in the paint rather than on top.
Mooney's are known for poor paint jobs. They farm out their paint now on all manufactured aircraft. The old paint building was a the leakiest building in Kerrville. Your vids are very informative and we enjoy them.

The results on 1FH are amazing, it looks better than new! Incredible job by Aviana
Looks awesome! I do see a swirly looking tail though in the light at 22:33
You never quite get 100% with a 1 step paint correction
Beautiful job. Aircraft I have flown always go a few knots faster after a wash. Your detailing should create time warp!
Hi great video, im about to use griots orbital on mine, how did you get around the rivets? did you do them manually?
As long as you are careful you can go over them, See this video: th-cam.com/video/E99miNB-eSo/w-d-xo.html
@@AvianaAircraft Thanks ill try underneath, the Orbital is new to me and will start with a low setting, your videos are super helpful
Great video! How long will the ceramic coating last? Will it make bugs easier to remove from the wing leading edges?
Patrick, bugs, oil, and exhaust all wipe off significantly easier. We give it about 1000 flight hour lifespan
What type of air tool do you use to blow out the pads? Looks new!
for wool or microfiber pads I use a Tornador
What is your best pad and compound combo on a A36?
Do you ever clay bar? If so, what "criteria" do you need to have in order to determine clay bar is required? Thanks

What do you use to blow out your pads to clean it of spent polish when you’re on the road like you are most of the time?
MrJimmer I’ll end up washing pads in the sink or a bucket. If that is not available, worst case : th-cam.com/video/Pvr4L-NJ2B4/w-d-xo.html
