I stumpled on Ariel's IG then came here after about 2 hrs or scrolling...I then watched pt 1 and pt 2 back to back and noticed that Romans 12:12 careied through both epsiodes. I wouldn't know whether this was intentional or not, but I love the consistency in the ministry that is Ariel's life. Her family. Her children. There's just so much purpose in it, and it's so beautiful to see. Thank you for sharing your story❤

Listening to Ariel talk about being adopted reminded me about information I read in a book called What Happened To You. In the book it talks about how trauma is generational and is actually genetically passed down. While nature vs. nurture are an important factor, the trauma of your birth mom getting pregnant at 15 is something that can be generational. That’s why when people talk about breaking generational curses these are the instances they are talking about. The book actually gives amazing perspective on understanding why people do and say the things they do.
When I was growing up, I didn’t know until I was about 10ish that I was adopted by my biological grandfather and his wife. My egg donor (she earned the name) told me at 10 years old to call her mom. I looked at her straight in the face confused af and said you’re not my mom, I have a mom. It was at that moment that I realized that she was my biological mom. I remember waiting for her to love me, show up for me, or just be there for me. She refused. It’s so hard. I was meant to be with my mom and dad. God knew I wasn’t meant to be with her for many reasons.
I felt that comment “be careful of the doors you knocked on “ cause I just want to know so much more too as an adoptee

Ariel definitely has a calling on her life. This testimony touched me.

WHHHYYYYYYYYYYYY is the dad mad tho?! Why does telling your child they're adopted have to be pain?! That's his mistake. That's his fault. You're mad cuz your brother is the only one who didn't go along with the lie?!?! He don't sound that crazy to me. Adoption means you had two sets of parents looking out for you. How is this pain?
It can also be the fear of losing ur child. I’m not planning to adopt, but if for whatever reason I do. My biggest fear would be losing them. It’s every adopted kids right to know who there bio parents are and I would not hide that from them. The problem is there have been some adopted kids who when they grow up and find there bio parents. They distance themselves or completely abandon there adopted parents. I’d be damned if I raised a child for 18+ years for them to say f u I don’t need u no more. That could be a big factor in why they never told her.
The older generation didn’t see things as we see it now. Many who adopted wanted to raise the child as their own biological child without having to share or say where the child came from. Some feared shame and others feared losing their child.

The Parents did what they thought was best. Your birth mom started the process your adopted parents did the during and they both can be there for the ending process. I pray for all y’all healing

This!! About the child support.. a lot of men don’t understand that child support is to help with expenses of the child. That includes rent, light bill, etc… because that’s where the child lives. Child support is to supply the child’s needs. In reality it is to support the custodial parent in taking care of the child.
No it doesn't include rent because if that's the case if I have my own place and you can't afford your own rent then the child should stay with me you should be able to take care of yourself your own rent without having me have to pay for your rent that's crazy

This story has so many turns. I am a child free single woman by choice and one thing that y’all said that is sticking with me is the roll other women play in a man’s life. Some men are choosing to harm their child to avoid financial support and then here comes Little Miss “he’s not a bad guy, his BM is crazy” that will nurture and provide community for him. Again, this was just a AHA moment for me and a reminder not take what a man says at face value.

One thing I realized is that as much as you claim to not judge, you attacked that man and didn’t allow him to finish his messages fully, which ultimately frustrates the viewer in me cause you’re interviewing these guests. The lack of patience because you think someone is speaking slow (he’s not) when yall basically spoke at the same speed is laughable and shows lack of understanding as a person. It gave off what a great deal of women do. Man is not perfect but he took accountability and stood on his words.
You must have gotten hella backlash on that video. Learn to listen more to the FULL MESSAGE of what someone is trying to convey, instead of listening to respond.

It's terrible and this is the most clout we gonna give this Iady so don't subscribe .. she talks about child support like it's mandatory when not everyone brings the Courts into their business .. I got 3 BM's and never been put on child support bkuz none of my BM's were 🌽🦵🏾 enough to put me on when they already know/knew that I am a standup man who loves taking care of his kids. I even went to prison for 4½ years and told 2 of my BM's to put me on CS and they literally refused to do so. I never wanna see this Iady on my TH-cam notifications .... EVER!!!!
