This is exactly what I need to hear. I started with $500, then $8k, then $16k....I was planning on putting in $100k but I'm going to wait a long while and trade at that $16k level for a while longer.
Thanks for this video. This is what I've been needing to hear and what I've been looking to hear about. Thank you for being a professional voice in a sea of TH-cam noobs.
Amazing heart to heart talk that any real mentor can give you. You are really an amazing person. This advice is like the holy grail to take trading as a career and not a battlefield. I have been in trading for couple of decades now and made lots of money but have lost most of my sleep. I plan to have trading where I can just set up market alerts and never look at my phone for the whole day. This advice can help me achieve that. Thanks and god bless you.
On year 4 and I definitely have made this mistake of upping size too much more than one time. Good to hear, but unfortunately I learned this lesson through experience
Awesome video iv'e been trading for 1.5 years and can relate to everything in this video. Only recently have i understood how to properly go about trading the right way.
This really speaks to me. My goal for this year is to journal trading setups that i can do well in. Hopefully I can get confident enough in them and also have enough setups for a good variety of situations to fully transition out of my current career.
true story, i ramp up fast after 6 months of "getting it", ended up losing 60k in the next 2 month, because either i pussied out or was holding on for too long. still on the path to get the good habit on with a much smaller size. its a slow process and had i not been an idiot to size up that quickly, maybe i would have had much less mental stress and could function in other parts of my life (which sometimes weight more than money)
I hope I can get some advice or opinions. A few month ago, I bought ISPC at over $20, because they were about to announce their results on a new treatment for cancer. Their stock shot up from around $4. The announcement was that their prior results were skewed, and the treatment was ineffective. The stock dropped like a bag of wet sand--and like the newbie fool I was, I kept it hoping for a turn around. Several months later-it hasn't moved more than 25 cents either way. Should I keep it and hope it goes up for some unbeknownst reason, or should I dump it for $4 and lose 80% of my money? Any thoughts (besides me being a dumbass for doing it : /)
I have Been there !! Lots of Winning trades in demo for 3 monthe on a stratégy . And Killing real money with 3% risque with the same stratégy it make you fell so bad ! Awsome video good job :)
Thank you so much sir for this great advice. I thought of leaving my $1000 per month job, have been trading for last 6 months, but now i wil wisely before taking a decision to leave my job. Thanks a lot once again sir.
risk management is so critical never scale up and you have no kind of trading history. even then we should never ignore sizing correctly after many years
I'm in crypto. First I started with a strategy with very little money. Then I upscaled like enormously even though I was still positive even the gains are ridiculous to handle. So moderate upscaling I would agree with you is a really a good idea.

This guy is the most optimistic ever , LOL
Watching this after profiting 5k on an earnings play and losing it all the next day
I listened on 2x speed and Thought you were Mike B
It's psychology, not risk management!
As usual with trading between videos this could’ve all been said in under a minute..
Risk management advice:
Keep your day job degen.
Thank you people do not want to hear the truth

Horrible video. All he said is it is going to take more than 6 months to be abke to quit your job to become a full time options trader.
He clearly said several years unless you’re *lucky*
