Thank you being a professional driver. My first job in the 80's was flat bed. Loved it. Won't go into everything. Loved driving in the desert 🏜️, going conn. PA etc. Later drove van gues they still called hot loads. Times are different, and can't get from Vermont to CA in 2& 1/2 days. Coast to coast paid good and good companies. Thank you being a professional driver. 👍👍👍 🏅 Keep up the great work, watch out for horrid brake testing 4 wheelers!!!!!

Thank you for all the kindness and for also being a professional driver! Only professionals will comment on that! 🤣I love driving in the desert, too! I love the dry air! Unfortunately, I usually get stuck in the Northeast! Times are way different! My grandparents drove back in the day and it is nothing like I remember with them! I got to spend a summer with them on their truck when I was younger! I will most definitely keep up the great work to the best of my abilities! Oh man, yeah those horrid brake testing 4 wheelers! I wish they understood our perception of what happens when they do that! My truck has that automatic slam-on-the-brakes thing if it sees brake lights, it has shifted my load before! 😱 Again, Thank You so much and you be safe out there also! 💯👍😆

Hey Lady it wasn't your fault your GPS system didn't notify you of the construction being done and given you an alternate route instead but you got it taken care of with some help as well as the other driver needed as well lol. You had an eventful night at the truck stop and sorry your trailer got damaged in the process. You are a good driver making sure your load is secured and safe enough to be on the road so thank you for that. Stay safe and see you next video!

I see you have a ladder in your truck that I hadn't seen in your previous videos so is it for the sites that don't have equipment for you to use to strap your load?

I don’t fuck with the gps that western has

I was running two different GPS’s and like that officer said it’s been a major problem for them! I did not see the other driver until I was editing the video🤭🤣 As far as the eventful night, I had a gut feeling that would happen! Before I laid down many drivers tried to park beside me and gave up! Parking was extremely tight! I’m lucky I had 3 empty spots all together when I parked. That Pilot really should fix their parking lot! It was crazy seeing so many drivers jump out of bed to investigate that extremely loud noise (the airbag) I wish I would have got that on video! Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to me!

Yes, I had to buy one, for the reasons you mention and, I’m kind of short! Comes in handy a lot! I’m excited about one of my future videos, because I got attacked by a bunch of ants while strapping and tarpping a load! These little bites hurt bad, but looking back it’s kind of funny how it happened! So yes, hope to see you around for my future videos, too!!! You also stay safe on these crazy roads!

I just use theirs as a reference to the route they want me to use! Plus, being a company driver, I kind of have to take the route they want. I do however have the ability to request different routing! Thank you for your comment!

First thing, I never sleep in a crowded truckstop too many idiots second thing make sure you got the address and phone number of relocation of the customer and call them up and make sure it’s the right address. Keep up the good work.

I didn’t even know that Pilot was there! I won’t be making that mistake again! I should have listened to my gut! I did call ahead, “technically” speaking that is their correct address that was given but due to construction, they are in a temporary location which was 20 miles more up the road (40 miles total) which everyone refused to pay the extra miles! Too much paperwork I guess! I’m ready to find a different company now that I’m officially passed my year mark! Thanks for checking out my video and leaving a comment! I really appreciate it!

I am now with a new company. If you need a second chance Company, Western Express is great for that! However, if that is not the case, May I recommend any other company, like the one I’m at now, Prime Inc! You can also check out my pay video for Western Express, I show a years worth of my pay in detail. I hope this helps you make a decision! Be safe out there and thank you for checking out my video!

How long does it take you to secure a load? Do you do much backing at shipper/receiver? How long are you given to complete a load? How many loads and/or miles do you a week? If you fuel at Love's, why do you shower at Pilot.. wouldn't it be free at Love's? Is it easier to back with flatbed than van, since you can see more? Do you get paid per drop? How's the pay, is it per load or miles? Sorry for all the questions but I appreciate the videos they are very helpful. Enjoy your your day

It takes me anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to secure a load. As far as backing goes, if they have docks chances are we are backing in. However, most of the time since we are side-loaded, usually I just pull up somewhere. I would say it's about 50/50 on the backing. When it comes to completing a load, if it has a set appointment, I am expected to make it there by that appointment time, but when I am trip planning if I don't feel I can make it; I can call and have my appointment rescheduled. Usually, the planners are great at scheduling an appointment time. Rarely, have I had to have an appointment time changed, if I do it's because I am trying to get an earlier one! Most of the time, I have a window of hours to deliver the load and all the in-between is up to me! I have a pay video coming out real soon, that will break down my pay for this past year! It will have the miles, loads, cpm, and so much more! I believe it will be the best Western Express pay video out there when it comes to the flatbed division! It is hard to answer your loads and miles for a week seeing how it can vary drastically. I have been fueling at Love's and Pilot. Mostly, Pilot though! I love the showers at Love's better, but I get more at Pilot! Plus, being a veteran, I get 10 percent of all food! I save more money at Pilots! As far as backing a flatbed, when it is empty, yes you can see a lot more! However, we have a larger turn radius and sometimes can't do all the things a dry-van can do! That spread axle is so different! Please stay tuned for the pay video because I believe that will answer all your pay questions and so much more! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my videos and I don't mind your questions one bit! I appreciate you and I am glad my videos have been helpful! That is my goal is to help other drivers out and be entertaining in the process! Have a great day and stay safe on these roads out here!

@@latisd5121 I am editing the pay video as we speak! I am so excited to get it out there because that is the number one thing I get asked the most is about pay! I am going through every pay stub for the past 12 months! I am breaking it all down! I am showing even the ugliest one, where I ended up owing Western Express after working! Thank you so much for your interest and Happy Sunday to you as well!
