Konan was so underrated. She should have had much more scenes. What an incredible design and such a beautiful Jutsu
my guess is that her jutsu is so hard to animate by hand that they tried avoiding giving her screen time as much as possible :p

Her Paper Angel technique made her essentially invulnerable. Even when faced against Jiraiya’s fire, she would just separate and/or soak herself.
While her offense was usually mediocre (like paper shurikens) one could see her outmaneuvering and outlasting against most opposition. Her one big fight against “Madara” showed she is patient, analytical, and tough to pin down. Had she not exhausted herself with that one big technique, it’s tough to say what could have been done to her to contain or kill her.
@@adrianc7008 that river paper boom technique isn't something she can do regularly that fight she had with Obito she have saved up those boom for that pacific time like a trap .

they did a complete 180 on his character and how he operates, nobody in the series yet until that point has pulled the wool over his eyes or done anything he didn't see through but all of a sudden this random nobody is nearly killing him just to try and make jiraiyas students seem like reformed people after spending their life murdering people for no reason despite jiraiya saving them and showing them the love they never had
I’m the databooks, Sasori is actually in the same tier as Itachi and all the Sannins. Making Sasori submit like that means she had way more skill we saw in the manga

@@SUPREME_NARUTARD Not really, Sasori´s poison can only be cured by a antidote that lasts a few minutes tops by the two best medical ninjas in the series, made with rare ingredients from the village hidden in the sand outside of Edo tensei or other summons or reanimations that cant be poisoned (like pain´s 6 paths), sasori is pretty much unstoppable, it´s highly likely even Madara, Hagoromo and Hashirama wouldnt be able to just walk off the poison either as they wouldnt have the medical knowledge necessary to heal from it.
Unless one has access to those those plants death is guaranteed.

Konan needed more attention. She just had one fight in the anime I think with Obito that too was short I think.
She also had with the Aburames during Pain Infiltration Arc in Konoha but it was too short.

Sasori is extremely powerful... We never saw his third level collection, the only puppet in that collection we saw was the third kazekage.
Ironsand cannot be evaded... That's why it's one of the most powerful kekkei gankai in the naruto... That sand is so have and sasori can manipulate it to the extreme...it can literally cover a whole battlefield.which would leave konan with no escape, even if she spilts into bits of paper that whole sand will overwhelm her and bury her alive

Sometimes I wonder who would really win with both at their peak. Sasori would absolutely need to use the Iron Sand to affect her, that or poison gas, both of which he can use very fast and effectively. I think their battle's outcome would depend on who can launch their attacks the fastest. Konan most definitely caught him at an underprepared time here as he wasn't used to the Iron Sand yet, but I'm sure he had plenty of ways to utilize his poison gas.
Also in the midst of me talking about this, I also remembered his self-puppet forms fire and water abilities. The fire might be easily avoidable for Konan, but that water stream... just might take her out with no protection on that battlefield. Honestly if he used that on her there, I think he could've won. Overall, I definitely do believe peak Sasori has what it takes to take down Konan on multiple occasions. That man is seriously OP.
Sasori with kakuzu´s experience would easily win, but konan was built by living war, whereas Sasori just saw the aftereffs of it in his daily life.

It was actually part of their origin story back when shippudden was doing spin off for them they even had a quick movie where naruto fight along with them

This flashback backstory is canon to the anime and not based off the manga. It may be filler but it is canon to the anime even it is not made from the manga. Just filler to connectes to the canon anime. Plus it is a flashback of how the members of the akatsuki where recruited
