Display Your LEGO UCS Venator on a Budget! IKEA hack.

- I finally built the UCS Venator! Now the dilemma of trying to figure out where to put it and make it display well!
I went to ikea of course! I had a budget and this is what I ended up with. I’ll link the table below that I used!

Having a monumental set in a coffee table is always a delight, no one will notice the modification and it looks great.

@@brookethebuilder- Once I'm able to, I'll be doing the same with the Millennium Falcon, hopefully within a diorama build like I've seen with the Deathstar hangar but maybe go with Hoth instead (since Empire is best movie :P) or maybe have it mid flight through hyperspace 🤔 all these tough decisions 😅
@@dobbear so many decisions! 🤔Empire is my favorite out of the original trilogy. A hoth scene would look really cool! With the new millennium falcon mini scale coming out, a scene that I’d like to try is the space worm scene attacking the falcon!
@@brookethebuilder- Just an excuse to use those Tauntaun figs 😅 and have little easter eggs for the keen eyes to find, would be fun!
That would be epic! Would look very nice with the new mid-scale Falcon for sure!
I was thinking of having that Falcon when it was attached to the rear of the Star Destroyer.

I have the exact table and put the large technic cars down there. It’s an excellent, functional display option!
The technic cars would look so good! It is such a great coffee table for Lego display!
If you turned it around could the height fit under the elevated table based off the locations of the stands underneath?

This looks awesome! I don’t have the venator, and it’s probably way too much work, but could you shorten the stand? Just a thought. Your solution looks perfect so well done there!
Yes you totally can! I already had it built, and didn’t have the right technic parts to do it. But if you do go with this display do it while you are building the set. Then you don’t have to take apart anything 😊

04:32 I think you could have modified the stand instead of the ship itself. Replacing the 12 long Technic pieces with 10 long ones that make up the bulk of the height of the stand build. 🤔🤷
I was thinking of doing that as well. I just don’t have the right technic pieces on hand to modify it that way. That would be the way to go if you do have the pieces in your inventory.
Yea. Lovely. It sucks being a LEGO collector and living nowhere near an IKEA.
I agree I have to drive far to get to IKEA. Delivery is always so much money.
