I thought I knew "the faith of Christ" but now. IN and OF is different. The faith of Christ is your justification from sin. Trust that. Faith in Christ is believing HE IS. That is the Gospel. Amen faith is not a work Rom 3:27, 4:5,6.

Our faith is IN the faith OF Christ.
Our faith is in the obedience of Christ.
Our faith is HOPE in him.
    Romans 8:24
“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
    Colossians 1:27
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

The Lord Jesus Christ being the True God and True Man did not need to have faith in God as we need to have faith....we must be careful not to diminish our Lord and stay with the KJB that defines the faith of Christ :"Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:...the faith of Christ is THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS OF GOD BY FAITH . To God be the Glory :) Thanks brother Justin ,keep up the good work :)

    Ephesians 2:8
It was revealed to me many years ago...I've been sharing about it for years...have been rebuked for years...
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Clearly looks to me like not of yourselves...Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. The Faith of Christ that it is a gift to us...who have believed by grace through faith.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith impossible to please : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.Luke 18:8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
    Romans 12:3
"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."
The TRUE and FAITHFUL ONE IS THE TRUE AND FAITHFUL ONE...
A son/father covenant isn't a new idea......Jesus and the Father made a covenant, and then by marriage (Romans 7:1-6) we received all that Christ received by covenant as our inheritance through His death, and then He came back from the dead to join us and make sure we got by inheritance everything He willed to us....
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
FAITH IS NOT A WORK BUT FAITH WORKETH BY LOVE....
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Galatians 5:6

Justin, If I'm understanding you correctly. You are saying, you believe the faith of Christ is your third option. That it, is not a belief or faithfulness of Christ but "the faith" as we would know it of what we believe about Christ' work on the cross. It's the faith we believe in, not the faith that it takes to believe? I'm I getting that right?
The way I have come to believe what "the faith of Christ" is, is Christ never being a man, never going to the cross, etc obeyed the Father by faith (or faithfulness) by coming to earth and becoming a man and going to the cross. Of course never leaving His deity behind. Your thoughts? Thank you for your ministry and faithfulness. :)

The issue is people get tripped over the word 'faith'. Calvinists teach 'the faith' is the gift. It is part of the T in TULIP. 'Total Depravity', that you are so depraved that you cannot even believe. So God has to give you faith. I could see where he is coming from. The issue isn't that whether or not the 'faith of Christ' is true, its the kind of message you are presenting that could be causing confusion to people. Since there is so much confusion on the word of 'faith' and what exactly does it mean. And Universalists teaching that people are already saved before they ever had 'faith'(saying somebody can go to hell with their sins forgiven, because they don't think salvation includes both forgiveness and righteousness) or believed in the gospel. They will actually say it is Jesus Christ's faith that saves and that they don't have to believe at all. There are people out there that would say 'faith' is a works and by saying you have to 'do' anything, even believing, is adding works to the gospel. Which is why the 'faith of Christ' while it is true, depending on what people say behind it. However, saying it can bring the wrong people around you. Because they think of something completely different than what you mean by 'faith of Christ'. It would be like having honey all over you and you wonder why you have bees all around you. Its because of the kind of message you are giving.

    • @dkgrace6743
      @dkgrace6743 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@da3879 Not sure what you are concluding in your last comment. But I believe the "faith of Christ" is Christ' work on the cross. Having faith in God the father's plan for Jesus to carry out. Without it, there would be no cross. Jesus' faith to do something He never experienced, becoming man and going to the cross. And by it we are justified.
Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Peace and grace.

Jer. 19 3] And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.
    [4] Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
[5] They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
Good lesson. I can't disagree about Christ is God and He knows all because he is God. This verse is confusing to me. What do you think?

All it means is that the Faith of Christ is laid to our account when we trust in his death burial and Resurrection. His righteousness is given to us as a free gift because we are not righteous. So Jesus Christ righteousness is imputed to us. That's all it is. But they get rid of the righteousness of Jesus Christ. The faith of Jesus Christ and try to make it about what they do. I've had plenty of conversations with these people.

The faith of Christ put Jesus on the cross, faith that thesFaather would quicken Him and raise Him, My faith is weak through the flesh I have no power to justify myself or to do a righteous work , only Jesus could do this work of SALVATION, and imput it to me through belief in Him and His finished work.

15 minutes into this vid and all I hear is many words to justify what you already believe instead of allowing scriptures to reveal the truth of the faith of Christ. I feel that this topic is difficult for you because you’re going against the very words that are written. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. This video is a perfect example of what not to do pertaining God’s words.

    The Trinity 🤔
Did Jesus say I go to my Fathers house and become my Father? 🤔
The Trinity and The first Council of Nicaea was the first council in the history of the Christian church that was intended to address the entire body of believers. It was convened by the emperor Constantine to resolve the controversy of Arianism, a doctrine that held that Christ was not divine but was a created being.
In 325 A.D., the Roman emperor, Constantine, called a council in the city of Nicea (modern Iznik, Turkey). The council brought together bishops from all over Christendom in order to resolve some divisive issues and ensure the continued unity of the church.Aug 28, 2014
Evangelical Christians accept none of them. The political effect of the council was to solidify Rome's control over the church, at least for awhile. The Roman empire had long used religion as a means to help control the empire. That was the main reason for having the emperor considered a minor god.
The Council of Nicaea, in May 325, declared Arius a heretic after he refused to sign the formula of faith stating that Christ was of the same divine nature as God. ... Shortly before he was to be reconciled, however, Arius collapsed and died while walking through the streets of Constantinople.
The title Symbolum Apostolicum (Symbol or Creed of the Apostles) appears for the first time in a letter, probably written by Ambrose, from a Council in Milan to Pope Siricius in about AD 390 "Let them give credit to the Creed of the Apostles, which the Roman Church has always kept and preserved undefiled". 🤔
