I have done, and I kid you not, literal days worth of collective research on the golf swing. Various channels, videos, swing tips etc. I am so technical with my swing that I have completely become disconnected from the feel and completely focused on positions. I have binged at least 20 of your videos the last few days and I can say you are the only channel that has gotten me to realize that. You've literally given me the golf swing epiphany I have been searching for the last 3 years. I just watched a different one of these podcast videos of yours, stood up, took a practice backswing, followed through, and literally started laughing because I knew I finally figured it out. Thank you x1000
The video you guys did about a year ago called (PGA tour backswing)proper arm depth, made a huge difference in my swing, and watching this video just reassures what I'm doing Thanks so much
@@AthleticMotionGolf I used to do it haphazardly, lol. I didn't understand that the perspective mattered, until I saw your past video about setting it up behind the hands.
This video convinced me to use your coupon code and get a Liveview camera. I have to say, it has totally changed the productivity of my range sessions. I was doing things that felt completely different from what I saw when I first turned the camera on.
@@AthleticMotionGolf I normally set it up down the line with the camera hands-high and inline with the hands (as you explained). I had seen that suggestion previously and have been using it that way ever since. I will occasionally film myself with a front view but that’s harder if I’m at the range since I need to use the spot next to me to do that. I use an app to draw lines to help me see what I’m doing and then walk frame by frame thru the swing.
Is another way to check if your hands are in centre of body at left arm parallel is to stop and turn back face on to address position and stand straight up without moving position of arms or hands? The triangle of the arms will be dead centre the club shaft in the middle of your eye line.
Hi Mike and Shaun, I think I have watched almost all of your videos since I found you channel last summer. I really like how you teach and explain everything. After recording my swing last season, I came to realize that my main issue is how much I cast the club. What are your thoughts on training aids, flexible shaft aids and clubs, that are designed to promote lag?
Guys do you all have a video on the height of lead arm in relation to the chest? Always heard lead arm across the chest. I think mine tends to get too high in the chest. For example if I feel my arm more across my nipple(what feels lower) I tend to hit a draw. If it gets high I hit a fade to a slice
@@AthleticMotionGolf The rectangular box showing hand placement was so good visually. I would like to see where the hands should be in general throughout the rest of the swing in reference to that rectangular box. Once again thank you and your content is always exceptional.
I'm just a beginner but when I watch the pros swing at shaft parallel, their left arm (right handed golfer) is never at 90 degress, its more like 45 degrees. I'm confused.
I was one of those folks who pined for you guys to do your podcasts with video. A vast improvement. Wish LiveView would ship to Canada. You fellas have any influence in that regard?
@@AthleticMotionGolf Yeah, I think they're using the China virus as a reason not to ship here. Not sure how they think shipping to Canada is more "dangerous" than just shipping nationally. There's no "virus shield" either on the US side or the Canadian side. Right? Can't we just start to use our common sense again? Lord Jesus. Sorry.
Wow. Getting into Adam's positions in the takeaway and left arm parallel seem easy, but in motion are not. I must have taken 20 swing videos thinking I was doing it but still too deep. Getting to the real is a feeling that the club NEVER gets behind you and is staying WAY out in front of you.

Thanks, guys. I'm planning on filming my swing at the range soon, and this gives me some great reference points.
Awesome, glad it helped. How did you normally set up the camera?

Love this video. Keep them coming please
I love this video guys. Do you guys have a video just going over lines you make when looking at video swings?
i love the podcast and appreciate all the great content you put out there.

ok this is me to a T, but what drills do i do to get those hand in the box, help. the golf illusion seems to help
Super informative!
Awesome advice on what to look for if you’re videoing your swing (which I do). I hadn’t seen the box analysis before. Excellent podcast.
Glad it helped. Love that you're in the habit of filming your swing, great habit to be in. How do you normally set up your camera?

Yessir, that works too 👊
Your information is very helpful, the best I've seen on the internet.

Great stuff guys.
Could you, please, send the link for the camera again! I didn't find it so far!
Very good, keep on !

So good. Thank you.
Guys! Can you tell me what software you are using here? I’m having issues with HUDL! Thanks!

@@shaunwebb6900 Thank You!
I see Mike wears two watches. Soooo... at 5 o'clock that's a drink for each hand. Get'r done big boy.
😂😂 I think one is a fitbit.
😂😂😂
What program is being used to mark-up the swings? Thanks!
The golf coach app
You guys simply rock. Thanks for bringing such great stuff. I hope I get the opportunity to meet you in person and buy you a coffee or a fine ale.
Great video guys. Can you do the same type of video with the rest of the swing?
Thanks and absolutely! We'll be doing this format discussing all aspects of the swing. Anything in particular you'd like to see talked about?

Question: what app/software are you using for this lesson? Thanks boys!
I think it's the "coach's eye" app. I just got it on my phone recently, and it has the same tools.
We use the Golf Coach App and love it's features and ease of use. Coach's eye is also good too.

Can you really move so that you do not get feedback? Is it even possible in any way? No sensors in your body?
