So the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is a solid choice if you’re looking for a large soundbar for your TV… however, TV manufactures like Sony, Samsung, and LG want you to buy their TV’s and buy their soundbars because you’re going to get better prefroamnce and more features. Now in this video we’re going to compare the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar to the Sony HTA-5000, but we’re going to be using a Sony X90L TV so that we can highlight the benefits of using a TV and Soundbar combo versus mixing and matching TV’s and soundbars.

This is not a fair comparison. Bose from a audio level is way beyond the other 2

Not necessarily true . They all have different dynamics. Also a comparison is good cuz u might want to pay less for a smiling sound or something tht works better with ur setup

But don't LG soundbars kind of suck? I want to get an LG TV, but if what you're saying is true, and if it's true that LG is significantly worse at audio than Sony or Samsung, then that's a big knock against getting an LG TV.

@@MyJeffrey1970 That’s an incredible TV. I wanted an Oled, but my wife has a habit of falling asleep w the tv on and I’m afraid of burn in because I’ve woken up to the blu ray player menu which has probably been on for a couple of hours.

@@krandletie1054 Burn-in isn't an issue for watching TV and movies. But it definitely is an issue if you connect HDMI devices like PS5, XBox, even a PC. Me, I connect my HTPC to my TV so I avoid OLED TVs. Modern OLED TVs are probably safe for 5-6 years of usage. However in the long run, like say 10yrs, there's always chances of burn-in.

I bought Sony HT-A3000 without watching youtube reviews, and I'm so disappointed. Ordered another soundbar, this time Bose 900.

I’m so confused as well and trying to find the answer, I’ve done a quick comparison at an electronics shop and found that both of them were similar.
Here’s what I found after that quick test:
1- The sound volume of the HT S40r was a little bit louder and you can turn the volume all the way up to the maximum on both but on the S65tr you don’t lose any details or have any distortion whilst there’s some minor distortion on the sony.
2-The bass of the sony subwoofer has more beats but the mid bass on the S65tr is better but I can’t tell which is better because I didn’t change the settings on both, so I think both of them would perform better if you change the EQ. Settings.
3- S65tr has more tech. Options that you can control by the ThinQ app on your phone and Wow interface if you have an LG tv.

@@B18ss buy sony s40r. Once you change the setting of subwoofer, treble and rear to full it rocks, s65tr bass disspointed me .
So if you listen to music and action movies then go with sony s40r as you will feel tht thumping bass
I brought s500rf bcoz it was crazy.
