The Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical structure made of stone and wood,. The castle was built by Raja Sidhi Singh in 1460 AD in an impressive combination of European and Himalayan architecture. The style of Naggar Castle architecture traditional Pahari style (Kathkuni) was used in constructing the castle
You can go on a road trip to Naggar. If you want to travel by bus, you can use HRTC or private bus services to reach Manali. Manali and Naggar are merely 24km away from each other. You can hire a taxi service to cover the distance from Manali to Naggar.
Timings are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. An entry ticket of INR 50 has to be paid to visit the palace.
Parts of the first half of the song Yeh Ishq Hai were filmed at Rohtang Pass; while the second half was filled in Naggar Palace in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
