"The Altar" A Phil Fischer Sermon from the Mojave Desert |

Every one of us has an invisible altar inside our soul where the war between the flesh and the spirit rages and when we are at a breaking point in our lives is the exact time when we need to make our greatest sacrifice to the Lord.
The Holy Spirit gave me a vision where I saw millions of souls roaming through the desert with little or no water and I realized that this vision was God's people roaming through our daily lives here on earth, living in a spiritual desert place where life is hard, and there is little fruit.
If you're going through something that's taken months or even years from your life and you yearn for the blessing and the breakthrough, if you are at the end of your rope then it's time brothers and Sisters, it's time to give a sacrifice to God and that means placing a sin upon the Altar.
Let me tell you a secret, the Lord does not want you to build an altar in the desert and grab an animal and offer up a burnt offering, but he wants our sin. He wants you to drop that sin in your life and when we make a sacrifice to God and surrender areas of our lives that were controlled by the world over to the Holy Spirit, we are in effect laying that old sin on the altar before God.
When you lay your sin offering down on the altar, it rises into the throne room of God and becomes a fragrance so beautiful, it’s indescribable with words.
