I've been looking for how to do this. My new iphone somehow got stuck in silent mode and I can't get the ringer turned back on. I hold the button on the side and it says "hold for ring" but no matter how long I hold it doesn't turn on the ring. So I go into assistive touch, press device on the little menu and mute is not an option. I try to change the extra button in the menu to mute and that isn't an available option either. So apparently even though your video is only a year old Apple has already changed the OS to invalidate it.

I tried this but it still doesn’t work normally when I put it on silent mode it’s just a little vibration and when I like on social media apps it doesn’t vibrate but now randomly I put it on silent it makes a sound and it still acts like it’s not silent even though I put it on silent Please I need help
